So finally we finish of this dhamaakedar week with a not so dhamakedaar episode, whose sole purpose was to show the reason behind Aparna's continued opposition. Is her stance right? - No. But was Aparna right about the perception of society? - Definitely.

The episode starts with Aparna praising Malini & Malini in turn praising Pallavi. Yahaan poora praising praising session chal raha tha. Panditji asks all the couples to come as a joda to do the aarti for the married couple and give them blessings for a long life. After everyone is done, people call for Adi to do the aarti with Malini. Adi seems to be MIA and as everyone is asking his whereabouts, there he saunters down the stairs in a purple kurta matching his actual wife's dupatta.😆(How cute). Anyway, he notices Malini there and gets a confused expression on his face, asking her what she was doing there. She mouths that Maa ne bulaya to explain her presence, like she had every reason to be there. Both Adi & I rolled our eyes, while he asked for Imlie. Not finding her there had him correctly turn to his mom to know what she did, as he knows that unless his mother has done something, Imlie would never have gone against the promise she made to him to come to the function.

Aparna justifies her stance, that she had spoken to Imlie & if that girl had any sharam, she will not come to the function. Among all this, Pallavi's mom asks the right question for continuity, that you guys had introduced Malini as Pallavi ki college ki professor, what is this that she is married to Adi, to which Pallo like a typical daughter quips, now dont ask questions, I will tell you everything later😆.

Anyway we are shown a flashback of Aparna meeting Imlie before the function started and telling her that as she is not wearing the family colors, she no longer fits in the family, so she should not attend the function. Ironically she praises her calling her honhar & mehnati, then reminds her that despite everything that she will only be that girl who worked in her house. Then she contradicts herself again by saying if Imlie had asked, she would have given her anything, but she asked for her precious son and Malini's husband, which Aparna cannot give her. Madam, you don't give anyone who works for you anything they ask, you do that with someone who matters to you. Like I mentioned, Aparna's cracks started to show here itself. How much Aparna right now just wants to compartmentalize everything, just to get through the function in one piece. She is trying her best to manipulate everyone just to show a happy family picture, which has gaping holes in it. Anyway, to keep the family's and her izzat, Aparna says that it is better if Imlie does not come to the function, leaving our poor Imlie in tears.

Anyway at the function Aparna tries to get Adi & Malini to do the ritual together. Everyone, including Pallavi's mom quip that Adi & Malini are such a good joda, that makes Adi flipping mad. He says that he will do this aarti with his wife, and and goes to find Imlie.

Luckily among all this drama, we get a chotu sa Adilie scene, where as usual, Adi starts with his "chalo" to Imlie. Imlie tries to explain that Aparna does not want her there and Adi shuts down her excuse saying that he is in no mood to hear her "no's". He explains to her that if today they decided to hide from the world, they will always have to hide their valid relationship in front of the world, which they both do not want. The world will continue to call their relationship with vile names and neither of them want that. So he asks for her saath to face the world together. Imlie hesitates for a second, but then decides to hold on Adi's vishwaas ka daaman and go and face the world as a couple, preparing herself internally for the consequences. Today showed again just how much Imlie trusts Adi and is willing to face what she had always feared - the world that knowing the truth will never believe her and will always raise questions on her character. She knew what she was in for by choosing to go with him, but steeled herself, because she knew this was necessary to give their relationship the respect it deserves.

Adi comes back to function introducing Imlie as his patni, who will do the aarti with him. This as usual creates a furor with everyone questioning on what is happening. Aparna tries to brush his declaration under the carpet saying ke woh mazaak kar raha hai (I really wanted to insert that 3 idiots wala gif here where Amir khan say "jhoot bol raha hai"🤣, but you get my point😆)

Anyway, Adi blows Aparna' explanations out of the water by announcing that Imlie is his wife. Just because she does all the work around the house, she is not their naukrani. Adi introduces her as his first wife. Hearing those words, Imlie feels a sense of pride that she is Adi's first wife & his choice. Adi explains that Malini & him are no longer together. He is sorry to say everything in this way, but he was left with no choice but to tell teh truth like thi.

This as usual spurs the entire audience to start with their taunts & accusations for the family. Even Pallavi's mother tries to join in saying that they have given a dhoka to Pallavi & her mom by not telling them all this, where Radhaji tries to justify their position saying they also have just found out about all this. Shout out to Pallavi here who in no uncertain terms tells her mom that she married Nishant out of her own choice and that Adi & Imlie have not done anything wrong. She loves this family wholeheartedly and that family includes Imlie as well. Pallavi's defense was firm but effective, unlike others who never could say anything more than a "Stop it Mom" as a defense to their mom's vile accusations. Pallavi really cares about Imlie and today her standing up for Adi & Imlie shows just how much she does, unlike other's behenchara.

We finally get Adi's "Seriously" again, which was so good to hear.😆 He asks his mother that why does she want to think of people whose soch is so ghatiya. He makes a final plea using Malini as an example for the family to accept Imlie and their relationship.

This breaks Aparna's patience and she vomits out all her frustrations and pent up anger at the situation Adi created due to his stubbornness. She rants at him that while he can be aloof and not bother about what other people think, she has to live with these people and interact with them on a daily basis. His one decision has made their family a laughing stock in society and they can no longer interact with society without feeling shameful🤔. Anyway, she takes a break from ranting to apologize to Malini that she made a mistake by calling her to the function.

Then she focuses all her attention on Imlie and starts of on her. Today her entire session with Imlie sounded more like how a saas dantoes her DIL for making a mistake, rather than the insult session it was supposed to be. It was actually cute to see how she was trying to explain that I had asked you do to this for a reason, as we as a family are not used to listening to taunts. Aaj Aparna ki daant mein mujhe woh haq dikhayi diya, that was never there when she shouted at Malini. Her entire rant was based on her inability to deal with what the society will say about them and their family, rather than have an actual issue with Imlie. It went to a point that Aparna physically could not take the emotions and just used the word najayaz almost like a token word thrown in as way to end the argument.

Then we get of all things Adi & Malini having a conversation. Adi starts with the usual of "why she came there", but tries to soften the blow by giving her the token - Yeh aapka ghar hai, aap kabhi bhi aa sakti hai.🤣. Matlab Adi ko taan bhi dena hai, but wants to soften the blow as well😆. He shares taht he is not able to understand why his family is not able to accept his relationship with Imlie just because she is a nakrani, and that is befuddling him in every way. He smartly asks her a favor to tell his family that theirs is a mutual divorce, so that he can get it over with & register his marriage with Imlie, with the blessings of his family. Matlab like mother, like son. Both want to throw everything possible at this situation to resolve it as per their requirements and are using Malini as a pawn in this process. I would have felt bad for her if she had given even a token resistance, but as usual, she kept quiet & walked away, while internally still pining for Adi. Matlab what was the point of all this if she is not going to get the message, I will never understand.

The precap shows the aaghaaz of the bahu competition, and we get a small glimpse of our Imeliya. Of course Aparna had to be there to shoot down her expectations, but it still felt good to see them together. Let's see how they use this as a way to get them back together as a true blue saas bahu jodi.

The way Imlie left the function, they are continuing to not give much idea on Imlie’s view point again. It just grows my suspicion of it all culminating in a drastic step by Imliya. Want to be totally wrong here.

And then the Aadi M conversation, it’s indicative of legal battle coming up. I think BS galati kar dees by letting M know that Aadilie marriage is yet to be registered.

Can this woman misuse this information, I think yes.

Remember she once said, to get what she wants she can take her mom’s ways too and when Aadi revealed that him and Imlie love each other, it didn’t take 2 seconds for this madam to accuse Aadi (her 7 saal ka pyaar) of EMA and threaten him with legal actions. She gave EMA impression to KC too, KC also has repeatedly told her to try saving marriage if she doesn’t want the divorce. And now knowing Aadilie marriage is unregistered, there is a real possibility that she can accuse Aadilie of EMA in court making divorce no more mutual . May be I somehow think M will turn negative that’s why I am thinking this way. I mean she did not mind poem jhooth to resolve her fight with Aadi, why would she mind EMA jhooth if she can get a chance to be his legal wife, senior T’s to aarti ki saja ke khade hai hi..but given her arc (absolutely zigzag 😆😆) it can go anywhere.

Yaar dear, itna dag hota usme toh kya hi kehte. As I have reiterated, this woman has no usage for her dimag. She reminds me of that 3 idiots wala dialogue ke agar uska dimag was sold in the market then we would get good price as it has never been used. Yahaan pe bhi yehi halat hai. She is not going to be sharing this info, and even if she does, yeh EMA ka chakkar agar chalaya toh issue will be hers coz then Aadi se connect toot jayega, which she would not want.

M turning negative again seems like a very low possibility for the same reason mentioned above - not using her basic intelligence and wallowing in self pity. These 2 qualities will ensure she will forever reamain in the Bechargi ki Devi mode and her bhakt will also support her in this mode, so she will hasi Khushi continue along.

As I previously mentioned in one post k how come registeration nahi hui when Imaliya's TC and marksheets and passing certificate has her married name😆aur agar nahi karaya to bhi name change k liye you need affidavit dala hoga specially when you have passed out😆ye pakka isko justify kar denge by chance agar kiya to by saying k BS ne pehle peeche se jake Affidavit daal k apne name ko Imaliya k name se alag karwa diya hoga🤣

Waise I don't know know why isko leke ho halla nahi hua on SM😆

Also it was one of the scenes which of gM must have not been convinced😆tabhi BS was khada with kaha ja k sar pitoing look in entire sequence🤣kyun batay GM ne 😆

Nice view of why Adi followed M and told her it was over and wanted her to talkto his family, shaadi regn etc.. I was too brain fried to think along these angles last night... happy it was friday..

BS is very sharp and moving his pieces very well, getting to his final goal of starting a life with Imlie with full rights.. at the same time getting the thorn out of his feet.. like he said in the hospital scene.. Imlie is like the stone stuck in the shoe... to be thrown.. he is basically evicting M from his life, his house n from the shaadi that was a mistake.

Felt some disconnect from GM.... and he stayed silent... maybe not happy with the way it was written or addressed.. also saw his reply on Insta, maybe that is why he kept quiet..

I am ready for CHOP... on Mon, no continuity at all.. seedha next day and some random family scene...
