I too found that Adi-Malu convo was necessary just not for Adilie but also for Malini herself abhi woh kitna samjhti hai that is upto her. But from his side it was really important. N his priorities were very clear. He clearly told Apu is using her to insult Imlie n he wants to legalise his marriage with Imlie. he didnt ask her to manoa his family for Imlie but just that it is mutual decision.

I feel he just wanted to make it clear to his family that Imlie is his wife. When he saw what Apu wanted him to do by calling Malu. he could not let that happen.. thats the reason he didnt give any choice to Imlie n insisted that she has to come.

Though, I would have loved if Adi had bajoed Apu for all her bakwas.. but its okay.. I m fine with it.

N one cant forget this is after all ITV.. n most shows are woman centric n ML are mostly used as bystanders in home politics But here we have AKT, whom we have seen taking stand many times.

Regarding Precap .. I think Imlie ne abhi apn hisab se cheeze handle karne ka soch liya hai.

I am ready to endure all this drama, if finally either Adi/Imlie get to tell them the entire truth about their marriage n how Adi fell in love.❤️

Aps and Nim- Aap dono ko meri pranaam. I tried to watch today's episode again after reading ur views. First I thought I'll FF apu and Malini scenes then found out episode will end within 5 minutes if I do it. So I watched it again. For me only saving grace was ritu mam acting otherwise I did not like the episode after 2nd watch too. Apu calling imlie illegitimate to her face was too much. I thought all shocked one minute after hearing Apu's words. No body expected that from Apu. I felt bad after watching imlie's face. It's not her fault. Apu should let of her ego and think abt everything with cool mind. Her words were insufferable and don't know how will makers redeem her character.

For malini I want to say only one thing. Please grow some spine and tell everything to Adi and learn to say NO. Please move on. She too did not deserve this humiliation from outside people but the problem is she never realised.

It was all about Aditya ki Maa... Aparna today.. Ritu ji was fab... loved her...

Thinking about this whole week, the episodes were all around Adilie shaadi revelation... bringing their truth to the family and to the society at large.. else people are going to make a spectacle of their love.. just as anu did at the college.

Started off with the tabletod shaadi and ofc the T's are in shock/denial over this fact.. Apu hit the hardest of them all as she had a special corner for Imlie from day one, it was her son. If I look at this week and her reaction, it was saam dhaam dhand bedh.. by any means to not accept the shaadi, bury her head in the sand. A mother who fears losing her son more than anything.. as Adi is her only child.The fact that he could feel so much for another person, over her, has put her in a dither. She is in uncharted territory and does not know how to react.

She praised Imlie and called her honhaar, hard working... but reminded that she did not belong.. it was almost as though she was steeling herself to say those things to her. Then the knife, if you had any respect left for me, you will not come to the function.

Adi is shocked to see M who gives the excuse of maa.. hai.. she is never to change... Apu begs with M, to preserve their maan samman in front of the society, pleading with AM to welcome Nishvi.. Alas all her grand plans came to null... Adi said he will do the puja with his patni.. I have to laud Ritu ji here, the fear was palpable in her face.. when she heard Adi's words.. Dd was.. mute kamba adding no value..

Adi goes to Imlie and finds her crying, forlorn.. he asks her to trust him and attend the function. Else society will always give vile names to their relation. Imlie places her trust in his hands.

Adi proclaims Imlie to be his wife, he will do puja with her. also clarifies she is his first wife.. Imlie's spine straightening on hearing this, she is emboldened by his support. yeh iss ghar mein saar kaam karti hai lekin naukrani nahi hai.. malini aur hum saath mein nahi hai.. He shut the door firmly on this ship today. 🤣Thank goodness SM, yeh Adi bol dees. Apu's worst nightmare coming true..

Dd giving stricken looks... All the neightborhood guest gossip, say their lines of taana.. and rush off to spread the taaza taaza khabar..

Apu scolding Adi, apologizing to M, hurling taunts at Imlie was well done.. it was uttered softly that had a devastating impact on Imlie. Then Adi goes off to M, talks to her outside the house... i need a favor.. why on earth would you ask for help from this delusional woman?? to sambhalo his family n acceptance of Imlie.. explain about divorce by mutual consent, we are friends only never in love.. ouch... someone's heart shattered again on hearing these words.

Remains to be seen if she will grant the D so quickly or drag her feet.. fighting her feelings of losing Adi..

next week - best bahu competition.. Imliya seems to be herself for the most part and Apu is being the typical saasuma..

Nice recap and agree completely Nim. I actually felt the same in today's episode as well. Today's purpose was to show the family that they're putting people's opinions over their own child's khushi. That to people whose opinion is just to spread gossip over someone's apparent misfortune, nothing else.

Rituji was actually fab today. Out of this entire week, today her facade really cracked open to the point where her reasoning for her to leave was simply put - we cannot deal with this fallout because we are not strong enough. We do not have that strength as you because you have grown up in the kind of environment which requires you to listen to this day in and out, but we have not. She was being an oxymoron - berating her while praising her in the same sentence😆. She ended her rant by calling her najayaz, as she had nothing else to say that would have any effect as Aparna also knows that none of this is Imlie's fault, except for owning her relationship with Adi.

I am not going to talk much abt DD, coz no matter what I say, it does not change the fact that despite everything she still refuses to wake up and smell the coffee. Did we need an Adile scene instead - yes. But I still feel that we will get one on Monday, like we normally do after such episodes (like last week).

Here I feel Adi did play it smart to utilise DD support to convince his parents of the divorce, as he understood that she is any going to come as bin bulaye mehmaan, so might as well take her help for his cause.😆
