I felt that folks were dangling a carrot in front of Imlie, treating her like a child... oh you give up Adi/shaadi and you will get this love/affection from us.. like a trade off.. only money was not exchanged.. every trick in the book is going to be tried here, to see if she changes her mind.. Now I don't trust the T's in this mood as they are judging Imlie for every action of hers..every word is weighted against her, used to show her as a liar, deceiver..

Just as Adi never understood Imlie and had to face a big jolt to realize her worth.... I feel she is going to say that at some time to Apu, that she never understood her at all.. going to make Apu cry tears of blood for her treatment of her own bahu. I am bringing the similarities of Apu - Adi here.. bike scene of Adilie to ... future scene of Apu - Imlie.

Ooh, I have no doubt that your prediction will come true. There will be a time when she will feel like she lost Imlie because of her own actions and it will be heartbreaking for everyone. SOmething tells me that Imlie is going to give her a reality check the way that she did to Adi during the SR in PD. He realized that he was being mean to her for no fault of hers and somewhere understood that he was doing something wrong. Then she got shot and he realized that she is his zimmedari, which finally evolved into love. So yeh toh hona hai, and how.

I also mentioned that in an earlier comment that everyone, Dev, T's are trying to bribe Imlie as they want her to leave this zid of her own accord. Somewhere they are willing to go back to the earlier status quo where they want to give her the love they used to, as somewhere they also miss their equation with Imlie, but cannot accept her in this form. This will continue till they realize that not only are Adilie firm in their decision, they are perfect for each other.

Malini is not a villian but neither she is some saint like she herself thinks to be.. she is a normal human being with her flaws. Makers themselves are not showing her flaws openly but very subtly. When Imlie used to feel bad on seeing AM together..we have seen her voicing it to herself. Hum bura kahe feel karat hai... But Malini had so many times noticed Adi's inclination towards Imlie... Things which he had never done doing it for Imlie but still kept mum... n it was not bcoz she trusted Adi n all..it was just beacuse she didnt want to face it. After all she is Dev's daughter.

Imlie'd dialogue gave me the inspiration for the thread's title. To nibhao a relationship, you need to work together and be with them, no matter how many people try to tear you apart.

Jr. T's all got decent dialogues and Pallo really showed her class, where she said that Imlie meri barabari nahi, mujhse better hai. That stole my heart, as no matter what, she has an organic rishta with Imlie and is judging her only for her qualities and nothing else.

BK ne chai ka cup toda, but first he had 2 full ghuts before throwing it, coz Imlie ke haat ka taste yaad hai. Shows that Imlie ne itni bad chaap chodi hai, that no one wants to completely let go of her. They are just not able to wrap their head around her choice to be with their raja beta.

Malini was the doll they could keep on the shelf and show off when asked, so her family was also tolerated, no matter how vile AC was. Also they feel AC was justified in her rants as she was right about Imlie, so uske pehle ke saare insults maaf.

Del DD is on another level. Matlab she agreed that she still has feelings, but is not willing to do anything about it. Toh itna rona dhona kyun. Just to batoro sympathy? Well I just could not even make a token attempt like her to try and even register her cry baby antics.
