Ritu Seth did an interview after coming back to Mumbai.

https://youtu.be/Zuoa9VDJ5Bk

Some highlights:

- The truth reveal to the T family has not come up in the script as well, because she has been asking the writers about it as well.

- She spoke about the amazing relationship she shares with the team, especially Gashmeer, Sumbul, Mayuri, Chandresh ji (Pankaj) and the actor playing BK - they get together everyday for lunch.

- She shared a beautiful explaination of how Mayuri is bahu bani beti, so some formality was still there, but Imlie is beti only, so Aparna's character treats her like that only

Thanks for sharing hahah I like the last answer the best inlie toh hai hi apni hamesha se uske saath kya formality bingo.. that is what we have always said...it is nice to see the actors acknowledge that too that they deliberately went for that formality and began pan with malini

You know when I heard her say that, reminded me immediately of what you and AY mention in the episode reviews, especially during the time that Aparna was upset with Imlie. That kuch bhi ho jaaye, the difference is that both Malini & Aparna may have a good relationship, but woh saas-bahu wali thodi formality reh jaati hai unke dynamic mein, which is why Aparna sometimes panders to things that Malini said or did, kyunki doosre ke ghar se aayi hai, sab chod ke, so uski har baat mano. While for Imlie being almost like a daughter and she does not one of her own, her relationship is one where there is no formality and pura haq, sometimes even more than Rupi di - she almost can be angry with her and show it and yet have a strong and emotional connect that will never break. Also I think the bond that Ritu & Sumbul share offscreen shows onscreen as well, with woh laad & pyaar - She had once said in an earlier interview that she has a soul connect with Sumbul, because Sumbul has a very pure soul that sees the good in everybody because she herself is so good and pure, and that shows in their relationship.
