I felt aditya’s attraction for Imlie increased in today’s episode. Her maturity in understanding that the ring is not hers and never will be. Her understanding that as much as he wishes ,he cannot pretend that his relationship with Malini never happened. Her acceptance that this ring is important token of remembrance for him and he cannot discard it as callously as Malini did. Her asssurance that she will make her own place in his heart. She was displaying pure love him, accepting him as he is. And these are the exact things Aditya craves in a relationship.

Aditya on his part worried that he will hurt Imlie if he holds on to the ring. Any indication of hurt from her and the ring would have gone to the place it belonged to - the dustbin. Because he also places Imlie above himself.

My reaction for the epi 🤣🤔🤪🥱.

I can't with the writers need to whitewash Didi & prop her up. They just want to give a clean cheat to Didi & show her as tyaag ki Devi as if Adi-Malini marriage disintegrated because of Imlie only. I am feeling so pissed off.

Imlie is trying to convince one & all that Didi is lying. Why is she trying to prove that Didi only loves Adi? What difference should it make to her even if she does except for feeling bad for hurting her? Does she not want to be with Adi at all?

Why is she Ok if Adi-Malini have a deep friendship even after they get separated? Isn't she already insecure about it. Being mature about ex is one thing but saying you are Ok with an ex who she is sure still loves her guy is stupidity to infinity level. Imlie should never be Ok with a deep friendship between Adi-Malini. I as a woman would not be OK with this. This is not some American sitcom where everyone dates everyone's ex & still remains friends forever. These are just shallow things in those sitcoms. Imlie is a more complex story.

Adi was doing well in the 1st part of convo with Didi that she should have 1st let them meet KC & then they could have broken the news of divorce together. But him taking the entire blame for the divorce is asinine. Does he believe that he is only getting divorced with Malini because he lied about being married to Imlie & now has fallen for her? What about the basic incompatibilities between him & Malini? What about all those crass behaviour that she has displayed? I cannot understand this.

Maybe he wanted his own marriage truth with Imlie to be revealed to his family as well so that he can be with Imlie sooner. But why take all the blame as if Didi was not at fault. Why not accept that they were not compatible as lifepartners?

Also what is with this sudden understanding development between Adi-Malini? They never had an understanding or even basic friendship that is why they had issues in their marriage. Writers have shown it so clearly to the audience. But now suddenly they have so much understanding about each other.

I believe that writers are compromising on Adi, Imlie as individuals & also their relationship just to prop up Didi & to keep her involved in their life. The way things were between Adi-Malini, they can only have a cordial aquaintances wala relationship after divorce realistically. But they want Didi to cause problems between Adi-Imlie even after divorce so this sudden friendship between Adi-Malini & Adi taking full blame for their divorce just pushing all if Didi's faults under the carpet. I am not happy with the way the writers are taking the story forward.

Also lol at Imlie being shipped with KC😆. I can never understand the fandoms need to ship the FL with any male that enters the show🤪. Even though FL may be in love with ML. This is a never ending problem across all serials I guess.

AY ji aap toh give up kar gaye. Somehow I don't think Imlie is going to doubt the validity of her love going forward, as she can see what he is doing for her on all fronts. She is going to have issues later in accepting the level of interference from Malini as her sister and Adi's "friend". I am hoping that they show her finally accepting that she deserves Adi's love, as that is where the problem currently lies. But the way things have been going, your prediction may very well come true and I will be sorely disappointed at the wasted opportunity to show something genuinely progressive and realistic in ITV apart from the miyan biwi sauten relationships that have been shown countless times before.

Lol give up ka toh pata nahin😆 but yeah, adjusting my expectations again to resign myself to an Imlie who will be definitely always be insecure and unsure of Adi’s love per convenience .

They are determined to hinge this all on Adi having a 7 year past with “chosen” partner Malini so Imlie will be “justified” in never fully trusting Adi’s love for her but otherwise she loves him so she can’t fully let go of him either 🤷‍♀️😂.

She will never blame Malini for interfering between her relationship with Adi but always scapegoat Adi for supposedly still being hung up on Malini who was always the more “apt partner” for him 😆.

When two people don’t really have trust and communication in their relationship, this is what it ends up being 🤷‍♀️. And they don’t really seem interested in building anything there. Just shifting between romance and insecurities per convenience 😆

the way they showed kc-imlie's introduction as if he has come for imlie 😆 i guess show's name is imlie so they wanted to introduce the character through her only 😆 but imlie is gonna be his fan for sure when he will bail sk, bs will be roast more in jalan 😆

sorry to say but him being cordial to her here doesn’t mean that he has forgotten about imlie and his resolve on there relationship.

The same girl who thought he had betrayed her two weeks back😆, the same girl who herself barely has any faith in him or their relationship, that girl wanted to show mahaanta today by saying she's fine with him keeping tokens of his ex? 😆

Imlie herself doesn't know what to call her relationship with Adi....why pin this on him then? Isn't she the one running around to convince everyone that Malini still loves Adi? 😆.....isn't she the one insisting Adi not tell anyone the truth about their marriage?

So why is the onus of "flipping" placed on Adi alone? Is Imlie flipping any less these days? When it suits her, Adi is a dhokebaaz or pities her....when it suits her, Adi should maintain "gehra rishta" with Malini cuz she has no problems with their past😆. This makes Imlie's stances and principles sound hollow wherein she has no faith in her relationship with Adi but wants to pretend like he's the one betraying her whenever the fancy strikes her.....lol...... But doesn't seem like the writers care anymore as long as they can keep their disjointed nonsense going to prop up Didi. Oh well.

Rewatched and hated the first half. Do not care too much about the second half. KC is bad. Maybe a tad bit better than Nishant but bad overall. The comedy was good but that is ST at work.

So please tell me I’m not the only one repulsed by this bizarre memento keeping of the ring. That ring needs to be dissolved for all it’s worth or given away. What is with this I will never forget the importance of the rishta or I will not take Malini’s place. Bhool gayi hai kya Imlie ki she was the one who Aditya married first? Malini never had any place to begin with for Imlie to even consider that she might end up replacing her. Her age or her insecurity is no longer a shield that can be used in place of her obtuseness. She does not want to live in reality.

And what is with Aditya bringing Imlie between his and Malini’s relationship all of a sudden? Kuch episode pehle toh bol raha tha ki Imlie has nothing to do with the breakdown of his relationship with Malini? Are the makers so short of ideas that they need to drag down even the last bit of respite we had down the drain?

Aparna behaved how AY thought she would. Nishant behaved how I thought he would. All in all, no one is going to believe Malini and she will suck up every bit of footage there is in the coming weeks.

As far as Imlie’s realization is concerned, I do not even know if I would want to see it or not. Things are just too weird on the show right now 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well initally I was repulsed with the entire ring kand, but decided to go with what you said initially, Adi just asked her if she wants a ring and did not specify if she wanted Malini's ring (I may be completely wrong but I am sticking with this for my sanity). As for keeping it as a momento, I feel this was the used to show that Imlie is evolved enough to accept Malini's position in Adi's life as his long time friend and one time great love, without feeling threatened, this laying the foundation for her interference in ther lives further down the line. While I know that Imilie will regret this choice when she sees just how much Malini will be involved in their married life, this is the way of the original which honestly cannot be ignored as that is the arc they are going for.

+Bold - I also had the same complaint, but then I remembered the scene after AM fight during the sindoor saga, and Adi mentioned that he is the one who is at fault for the breakdown of AM marriage. Today also he said that they are divorcing because he fell in love with Imlie, which is true. Also like he had said in the earlier scene I mentioned, he wanted to take this opportunity to yell the truth to everyone, so that he could finally move on from all the lies that was weighing him down all this time. So when Malini took the blame on herself, he feels that he has to manage another lie when he was so close to finally coming out if this Chakravyuh. So that was why he was mad at Malini for making this about herself rather than just telling the truth and closing the chapter correctly.

Adi did get impressed by imlie's mahaan vichaar. But as I said in some post, Imlie kehti kuch hai, sochti kuch hai and karti kuch aur hi hai. Imlie's thoughts in general are mahaan. That's what she expressed today. When Aditya is showing that he loves her through his actions, mahaan vichaar come easy to her. She is fine with whatever tokens he wants to keep; She identifies tokens as just that - tokens.

But any slight clue that Adi might favour didi in his heart,she gets jealous and feels betrayed. And she is incapable of handling the intensity of her feelings. So her response seems to be flight.

I think the problem here is that Imlie can never share her weaknesses. She is used to handling these feeling alone. Its always Aditya who identifies them and supports her.

Adi for now does not seem to have any idea of whats brewing inside imlie. He is in his happy world that as soon as KC shows up he can start his happily ever after. So he is in for a rude awakening 😆

Re- contrived communication gap: Adi and Imlie's relationship was too perfect. If the keep maintaining that perfection story mein conflict khatam hojayega i guess😆. So they have buried both the characters in a mountain of guilt and just as they are showing signs of over coming it and communicating with each other, didi's boyfriend issues are going to be revealed and they will become six feet under where they already stood😆

Loved this. So true. I feel in their journey towards each other, they have only just started dealing with regular issues that couples face which is bringing the conflict in the story. Imlie is just now dealing with the reality of having a husband in her life, to whom she will have to share her feelings and maintain an equal relationship, where she will also be equally accountable for the problems that come up as well. She had never dealt with it before, as in her mind, she was to nibhao this relationship alone, with Adi always being Malini didi's husband. This is like how you deal with someone else's kid. You know that at the end of the day, that kid's responsibility will be their parents' and you can play or connect all you want, but end of the day it will go back to its parents. For Imlie, Adi was always to go back to Malini at the end of everything and she will mantain the relationship from her end how she wants. But with Adi challenging that status quo, Imlie is going to have to wake up and smell the coffee. I still have hope for their convos, and will do so till the end.
