When will Imlie develop self respect?

Imlie is very young and probably has inferiority complex though she did not have any in initial episodes.. But will her character ever grow? She's now in college. College can really help her in her personality growth. I just want her to be the girl who shouted on adi when he called her characterless. Waiting for the day when she will be band bajaoing of AC and fragile MC. She wants to be a police officer. How can she be one when she doesn't have any guts to stand up for her rights? This Imlie is not the Imlie which we all fell.in love with. Who waste afraid of challenges life brings. She is not the girl of dadda, she's an idiot who is constantly worshipping her employer. What the deuce to quote Stewie.

When they first went to pd after their marriage. There he was again forced to do rituals with her. Their room was decorated for their first night which angered adi and called her shameless for bringing milk for him

Ok ok yes...he did insult her..god this spineless fellow is being glorified as a bechara haalat ka maara. He is shameless. Imlie should atleast now take a stand and move away. Scholarship and college sab bhool gai hai. Sirf sajna ve gaana hai.pathetic.
