I think it is a combination of wanting to treat their daughter in law like an equal and a general inferiority complex where the Cs are concerned. The fact that Aditya is such a khadoos most of the time does not help with perception either. And most of all khud ke bete ko samajhte toh things would not have gotten this far. Underlying problem yehi hai ki no one in that house gets Aditya other than Imlie.

Proud of Aditya that he is not shaken even after all the drama of didi😆.

Kya editing hai😡 didi's letter with Imlies speech. But I think they wanted people to realise difference between both woman.

Mujhe nahi lagta woh log itna bhi sochte hai.😆 I think they declare Adi galat hai simply cuz he is khadoos (Aparna's words today) and zabaan ka teekha. They bought into Malini's saccharine sweet facade and simply can't fathom her doing anything wrong.

Btw I also had another thought. What if all this is building up to Adi's fall-out with his family? What if after being pushed to his absolute limit he simply can't bear it anymore and walks out with Imlie after revealing Adilie marriage truth.😛

Edited to add: Maybe not whole truth, but a portion of the truth...which might cause others to misunderstand the nature of his & Imlie's relationship. Esp in light of Didi's suicide note.

Last time when Aditya went to PD kitna emotional blackmail kiya tha Malini ne in front of the family. I need you Aditya, I have never stopped you before, if you need space I have always given it to you, blah blah. And Aditya was shocked Malini was doing so much nautanki in public. He is like I thought we had a conversation in room, why are you talking this crap now in front of everyone?

For once I want to see adi-imlie go together to PD with smile on their faces. Like they need a break from torture going on in the city and Aditya decides to come up with a work trip to PD and takes his jhalli with him. And Adi himself makes Imlie wear Mangal sutra at their mid-point stop. Sindoor toh imlie wears now, so only Mangal sutra and Bangles remaining. Also then that chai wala or waiter can come and say, bahut achi Jodi hain. 😆 First time they stopped at that mid-point stop from PD to city, god knows what that waiter thought when he praised them being a couple. Kitna tortured look de rahen the dono. 😆

Work trip ya personal trip?😛 Kaunsa woh kaam kar payega in PD with Imlie after all this nonsense haha.😆 Especially after SK ki dhulaayi jo abhi bhi pending hai.😛

Partly the reason I want them to go to PD is because I'm more excited for the PD drama after Adilie marriage truth is revealed. Delhi waale toh pakauu hai sab ke sab. SK's reaction I'm excited to see the most.😊

But yes, they do need a few days of relaxation after all this stress....I'm not sure if they'll be able to be 'happy' but at least they'll be able to LIVE peacefully with each other.
