Between light and darkness

A better episode than yesterday, so I feel like posting some thoughts today😆

Today, the metaphors of light v/s darkness were extensively used to compare Imlie and Malini....Adi's article for Imlie has finally been published in Bhaskar Times and kya likha hai Babusahib ne apni Jhalli ke liye😆.....unki nazar se dekho toh kisi ko aur bhi pyar ho jaaye Imlie se :) He wrote so proudly of how Imlie has conquered darkness beyond what many can imagine and brought not just light but crackling lightening to a sleepy village which barely manages to get electricity properly.

I'm not sure on what basis Malini called herself the darkness but I'll take her word for it since she herself seems to consider herself that😛. We already know that Imlie is the blazing light that lights up every space she is in🤗.

Rupi di is so far living up to the hopes we had from her on knowing the truth.....she's the one trying to spread cheer in the house regarding the article and Imlie's achievement even as the rest of them want to drown in the gloom of Malini/darkness. Kudos to Rupi di for making some blunt statements just like her brother😆.....pointing out that the family never stopped celebrating anything when their own daughter of the house was so depressed....so why exactly has their life stopped for Malini leaving the house?😆I was glad someone was able to give the Tripathis some perspective ki there is a world beyond Malini. How cute was Rupi di trying to boost Imlie's spirits and sweetly telling her that Adi wrote the article for her😆.

Anyways, award function is here for Imlie now....also nice to see her still calling the family her apna despite the horrendous sapna she saw an epi back😆.....Adi ne bhi aakar phir se lecture de diya that you cannot pull back from your studies/career at any cost so finally Imlie deigned to agree for the award ceremony without doing didi jaap....Hallelujah😆

Yeh Adi ka "main Malini ko 1-2 din mein bataunga, shaam ko bataunga" karte karte hi ho jaane hain pange😆....cuz Dementor Didi has suddenly zeroed in on Imlie as the cause of her life's problems😆. Love that her first thought after realizing that Imlie is the cause of Adi's happiness these days was that woh logon ko kya jawaab degi ki Adi left her for Imlie? Wow, Didi *slow claps*....thanks for making your priorities so obvious😆. LOL@ her blurting this out in front of useless Chaturvedis. Hilarious that today I was feeling bad for Mrs. C being scapegoated for Didi ke kaand.....matlab everyone has a ready excuse for what Malini thinks or does...it's alwaysss someone else's fault whether she is suspicious of something or misbehaving with someone.....cuz Didi toh bas robot hain, right? Remote humesha AC ke haath mein hota hai ya Adi ki galti hai that he "provokes" her to be an elitist abuser? Sure Sure. Amazing the extent to which everyone goes to spoil her rotten and then sit and wonder why she is facing problems.

Last scene mein Didi again got all weirdly twisted....feeling mega jealous of Imlie ki praise in the article but being all like, "Aditya ne kitna achha likha hai"😆....sab kuch Adi se hi connect karna hai isko....Imlie ko kabhi koi khud se credit nahin deni....naked jealousy. Also all that weird twisted talk about andhera raaste se hat jaayega toh roshni aa hi jaayegi.....looks like that's the twisted martyr wala rationale she's going to give for this suicide attempt....while ofcourse simultaneously demanding that Adi love her, not just give her sympathy😆.

Anyways, I'm going to keep forwarding that creepy precap until they get that over with. Hope Imlie gets some nice moments at her awards ceremony before the nonsense descends with this suicide attempt.

Thanks for posting AY was missing the discussion today as it was defo a better one..than yesterday that was just plain depressing, even though as you rightly predicted.. a dream along with the others.

The light vs darkness was called into play here and Dementor didi connected a few dots, majorly missing the bridge collapse, which I think will come later pucca. She is going to dredge up every single one of the slights where Adi has ignored her for Imlie and torture those 2 poor souls over her perceived insults and hurt. The first time Adi handed Imlie his trophy, to kada, to Adi taking pics of Imlie when waiting for her results, to bridge collapse, she will collect for every one of them. I think by then the T's should start realizing the extent of her madness or depraved/twisted nature to understand that their son was under EA big time and that was stressing him out immensely. couple with their jaap of you apologize, grovel, bring her back.

Malini was rude to dadi n dev when they returned, turning on them like a tyrant. this behavior has been ignored by the family all along and these traits should be picked up by the T's n Adi n Imlie (who will be last I fear). Imlie is strongly in the grip of didi grahan and the suicide drama will tip her over the edge I feel.

I liked Rupi's subtle way of bringing Imlie's acheivement to the family's notice and how proud was Pankaj when he saw that his son had written that article. apu had a smile too. 😃

The way both ma beta were threatening to do something shows how deep still waters are. Apu calm on the surface and Adi chidchida.. but the feelings / passions run deep. Adi has inherited his mother's persistence from her. All they can say is bring the bahu back... back.. grovel.. bring her back. Not letting her son live a moment in peace.

I noticed Nishu had tons of makeup on his face when the family was in Imliya's corner.

Adi has written such a beautiful piece on his jhalli and he understands her, totally captured the darkness that Imlie had to endure to gain some light. HIm again reminding her that her focus should be on her sapna, education was well done. Mithi would have been overjoyed as well.

precap ignoring for now. me thinks it is Dementor didi cutting herself to avenge her humiliation at the hands of Adi who fell for Imlie and on the T's for attending her commendation ceremony.

I am justvglad didi ne aona target zeroed kar lia kaise bhi ab kamse kam hum audience ke liye koi dhaaki chuppi baat nahi hai.. she is going to be twisted mahaan banane ki koshish kar rhai in her twisted ways ke main toh hatt rshi thi yada yada while guilt tripping them so much ke deko you guys are the reason. Funniest was her OMG what will I tell others.. aa gaya na asli issue and thought bahar that she always felt imlie is way below her level and inka concern yeh nahi hai ke adi might be with someone else but ek gaoon ki ladki ke liye inhe hod dia.. I was LOLING so hard at her OMG main toh yahan bhi aapke pooches pohnchi.. MD was really not convincing in it all and was just making me laugh extra at malini ki stupidity.

Uppar se comedy gold was D² ka reaction WTH hum behnein bana rahe thay yeh sautan ban gayin 🤣🤣🤣

I am so happy imlie got rupi didi and how she was cheering her up making it special for her and her truth tea. Point to be noted they have a khandaani.problem of prioritizing bahus over betis.. if I remember correctly rupi was jealous if niddhi being center of their attention pehle before emailing and her being sidelined even though niddhi was always nice to one and all but yeah they then prioritized her caz bahu and now malini over the other girl they call beti.. so I was so happy ruoi mentioned it that sure bahus hain but that doesn't mean ke baaki sabki khushi side laga di jaaye

The article was oh so sweet though papa tripathi was reading it weirdly and I I koi aur ache se oadhta flow main but I really loved the words he has used for imlie like how she is the lighting bolt gaoon ki Shaan etc ..bhis pride reflecting so har.. I wished inlie read it too and cherish it but as usual imlie and adi ke Ilawa sabke liye footage hai..khair the point was conveyed and it was still so beautiful to hear the beautiful thoughts he poured on paper .

It felt so good to see imlie smile in her brief moment today. And adi telling her straight away ke tumhari pareshaani nahi hai so Don't waste your energies where not required.

Ab didi ne Pakka yeh twisted suicide drama karna hai to separate them based on her whims and fancies.. bihat turbulence aane wala hai for these poor souls as if abhu kuch easy hai *sigh*

Still overall a lot better episode and am not as depressed as yesterday thoda hopeful feel kar rahi hoon

Oh I forgot to mention one other brief bit I liked....when Adi told his family ki if you all keep pressuring me on the Malini topic, "Humein nahin pata hum kya kar baithenge"😆......this guy is totally on the brink all the time these days.

And LOL@ Aparna trying to repeat his own threat back to him that if you don't bring Malini back to this house, "Mujhe bhi nahin pata main kya kar baithungi"....haha.....Malini's really done a number on all these people with her extended bechaari act.

Yeh sab log yahaan uske liye dukhi hain and wahaan Princess ghar mein baith ke pout kar rahi hai and scolding her parents for going to talk to Adi's family😆.....Didi ko bas apna Adi Toy chahiye, aur koi nahin....yeh log kyun nahin samajhte....tch tch😆

wohi toh baat hai for all the hoo halla over didi ki tries and omg i am trying to.solve.. nothing comes legit na khud baat karni hai na kisi aur ko karne deni hai she only has one demand adi falling on her feet 🤔😕

Aparna and adi ka back and forth was good but aparna was being so unfair needlessly. About baat karna I Don't think adi means it at all he is more doing it to taalo them and get off his back which is why he keeps changing the mahurat until imlie refused to go then I felt he was like fine I will genuinly try only so imlie can enjoy her big moment

Thanks for the Analysis AY! Definitely a better episode today and must say the Hyderabad location looks good. So hopefully we can get some proper scenes now. Loved the article that Adi wrote and anyone who reads it will admire and respect Imlie🥰 Also liked that he tried to keep her focus on her education and Imlie didn’t talk back - yay. Adilie staying apart is certain with the drama coming up but I am hoping there is some movement and progress in the college front.

Looking forward to the discussion and analysis from everyone!

Holi episode mein Anu hi thi jisne Malini ko kaha tha...Mene apne 7 years mein isko kabhi v itna khus nahi dekha jitna khus aaj yeh hai Imlie ko lekar. Dekh tere haal k bare mein kissine pucha iss ghar mein,sab Imlie k aane mein khushiyan mana rahe hain tere dukh mein gham nahi.

Abhi toh sirf adi par Malini ko ghussa hai,maybe slowly slowly increase hojayega in laws k upar bhi qnki woh log bhi very much fond of Imlie.

@bold: Exactly.....that was the main takeaway from all her other ramblings.....lol sabse pehla dhakka isko yehi lagaa ki how will I tell others ki Adi left me for IMLIE?!😆.....Rest was all bullshit that she was rambling about Adi ne use dil se nikaal diya blah blah.....jinko in sab cheezon ka dukh dard sach mein hota hai, their first thought wouldn't be about their IMAGE taking a hit over WHO their husband left them for. But that is exactly what Malini thought......rest is just her typical "main bechaari" covering up of what a class conscious khokhla insaan she actually is.

Btw where did that photo frame even come from? lol didn't she claim she had no good pictures with Adi? And woh shaadi waali photo toh jal gayi thi.....yeh nahin kab khichwaayi specially to use in this scene?😆

She's going to be pretty insufferable with her twisted nautanki about how woh Adi ke raaste se hat rahi thi so he could be happy.....when real motivation is obviously just to guilt him....ek second bolti hai ki andhera hat jaayega, next second still crying that she wants his love.....all the abla/bechaari music in the world they keep playing on her scenes won't incite any sympathy when they show her as such a mindless person.

After reading the written update I finally managed to watch the epi. I basically attacked the fwd slider on the ipad and watched it. I dont even think Adi will be able to tell her any ounce of the truth. Before that she will make up her mind that her idea of what is happening is right. Nishant itna time pass kar ke aaya- Ek phone kar ke bata deta, bhai is coming to talk to you!!

Anyhow- I only see further torture of Imlie beyond this now. Sita Maiyya tum hi baachha liyo humko! And this time Adi will have to suffer it too because he will be in no position to say anything. Malini ka fickle heart and mind and Powerful Imlie ka vachan, Adi to gaya! Karma! And now I think I understand why Rupi di knows. She is going to be her friend and confidante in all this mess.

It blows my mind that an adult like Malini, who just happens to be educated also btw is guessing/ thinking/ suspecting that it is Imlie that has come between the two of them, but will not try to find out the real truth and just succumb to such extremity?

The makers have an extremely big task on thejr hands- Adi’s declaration to the fam jam of why he fell in love with Imlie in 7 mnths? Why is Imlie the brightest star! We see it, the fam jam needs to see that soon!

Also is there any side story to Adi that I might have missed- I have seen initial episodes very selectively. Is he adopted or something?!
