I don't agree with the idea that it now feels like a "guy and his maid", but we can agree to disagree there. However I do agree that the PD look and chemistry was golden. I think my favorite Imlie look might just be that green saree and with Aditya in the white shirt was... that was pretty fire.

Also @abha, I don't think this truth is coming out all that soon. It's definitely going to be used as the main angst for a while. I also am relatively sure Aditya is going to take a beating (literally? figuratively? both?) once this all comes out. So I'm not stressing about him not telling, as the story is going to unravel at its own pace.

I have to agree. I cannot bring myself to watch them either as it just doesn’t feel right. Yes of course they got married first but that does not mean Adi gets to romance as per his convenience when he chose to marry Malini as well. Yes she did the act of attempted suicide, so he felt forced. But isn’t it better he would have allowed her to carry on with that act, than doing what he is doing now? Or is his plan, she gets admitted to a mental institute so he can say : am a man with needs so needed to find someone else?😂😂

Imlie is just a young girl who is just in love with him. She has accepted he is her husband and she will do as he desires despite her fights lol! But then again, she does not owe Malini anything. It is Adi. He looks like a teenage boy who feels his behaviour is appropriate. He cheated on Malini and continues on doing so. I highly doubt he can be considered a hero of anything but his pants.

But then again regressive ITV is accepted thus why the show is doing so well!

I don't know why they have taken so much offence. What i am saying is a fact. There is nothing in this world which cannot be said without loosing basic civility. I just shared which is starkly visible and i am very very uncomfortable with this whole scenario of maid and husband romance. If someone would come from outside..the t family how will they introduce imlie...just a person working and adi and malini a married couple.

More than the maid and husband scenario what’s really irritating me is that Adi’s casual conveniently shifting gears in romancing one person from the other..Adi is not some teenager or a young adult to not keep his hands off imlie..initially when he had problem with imlie he left no chance insulting imlie and romancing malini..Now he ‘fell out of love’, chalo that is also okay badalte rishte for him but atleast he should give some time to process the entire scenario and then react. Like someone said, a leap post his return from PD would make sense processing his feelings and then communicating to mun. Also I don’t like the relationship dynamics between Adi and Imlie, the naiveity of imlie and the worldliness of Adi makes me uncomfortable.

Also this whole villanizing of malini is putting me off..the girl is genuinely confused with her changing dynamics with Adi and people want to villainize her just for asking to knock the door as well. I hardly want malini with Adi, he can go off with imlie for all i care, but atleast have this decency to have a conversation with the lady who was with you for past 7+ years, if not as a lover atleast as a friend. No he wants to instead give gubbare party, sort feelings for imlie, flirt with her, apply sindhoor on her maang (with malini ka sindhoor) and do all this shit 🤡
