That's not going to happen😆....cuz Adi's denial runs TOO DEEP and so does Malini's.

This is why GM mentioned that there will be much heartbreak along the way. If Adi-Malini were capable of introspection enough to understand the flaws in their relationship and try to make it work, this would be a different story😆.....but it's not.....they will continue to stick it out only due to guilt, insecurity, obligation and denial.

There's just going to be angst and sacrifice from both Adi and Imlie by turns cuz the only angle that will keep getting played up is that Malini is too fragile to survive losing Adi. That's it. If that's supposed to make me sympathize with her....errr....that train has also left the station😆

I must admit he and Sunbul are doing such a good Job to their characters. Malini's actress is also doing a good job but they haven't given much depth to the character.

There is already plenty of good angst to watch with Adi-Imlie.....not sure why a Malini sympathy track is needed for that😆.

Waise bhi all the attempts to show "angst" with Adi-Malini are mostly falling flat given how childishly Malini is reacting.

Mayuri is a good actress but there just isn't anything to that level in Malini as a character *shrugs*

Anyways, all I want is good Adi-Imlie development.....baaki whatever....mehh

Imlie is the central character and she is the one who has been going through the most misfortune so far.....why does everyone forget that Adi married her first? 😆.....why will TRP aunties not want to watch the bechaari girl who got married first get some of her share of regard/acknowledgement? 😆

Don't worry, they will show Imlie being appropriately mahaan and sacrificial still too😆 and that should be enough to keep the TRPs going as usual.....lol

I don't even know what they will generate sympathy vis a vis Malini over unless she uses SOME brainpower....but as GM rightly pointed out....she is one-dimensional in many ways🤣.....so just how much sympathy can you even generate for a 1D character? Why does she get sympathy? Simply cuz she's also married to Adi? Yeah, I need a little bit more than that at this point given how long she's played the guilt tripping card😆. Unless they show a Malini gaining some perception and reacting accordingly rather than childishly pouting in response to Adi's possible distancing from her, I don't think I'm going to feel any sympathy....and I don't see TRP aunties sympathizing with a wife who makes a tamasha of her husband like Malini does either😆.

@bold - which was my problem with what they did with the character the last two weeks. The poorly written caricature bothered me so much that I stepped away from it. If Imlie is no Mithi, Aditya is no Dev and Malini is no Anu, the last part is not coming through. Her unraveling has been all over the place.

@AdiLie - Treatment. Aditya the mentor to Aditya the paramour is a sensitive line. The TRP aunties have not judged it so far and if the makers are successful in bringing out the associated aesthetics, they should be good. It is very easy to mess up here. You can tip the scales either way. The fact that the makers have been great so far gives us who are online some confidence. TRP audience can waver depending on how that switch happens, especially if he continues to keep Malini in the dark.

I also do not think the TRP on its own is going to be impacted. Heartbreak and complexity always works so that will continue. I’m only talking about sympathy generation.

Rofl what that's new the ratings will drop caz adi imlie will be centered🤣 haha sochte raho .. the audience connected to the show caz of imlie and her dilemma not caz of how much pda can others do.... lol imlie is his first wife koi affair nahi chal raha yahan ke aunties will get repulsed heck even those shows work and are garnering huge numbers toh yahan toh sab kuch jaayaz hai

This show clicked for the story telling and the handling of the situation in such a positive way people are too tired of seeing the same kind of things and wanted some genuine bonds without superficiality hence they took it up

All the very best to the team for getting the number 1 position caz if anyone deserves it it is them for sheer execution without making anyone a cliché and making them do random nonsense just to garner eyeballs. So Good luck

Lol good to see GM understands all the characters and isn't trying to be all diplomatic and seedha sa called a 1 D character that only.. Malini didi hardly has anything beyond her usual self pity guilt tripping adi or sugary sweetness ...I wish though they do give MD something more caz isse toh sympathy nahi garner Hone wali and she will end up looking more whiny and unbearable hahah but guess his point is that ke bas aisi fickleness se didi ke liye log sorry feel kareinge which we have Seen demo with all the poor didi is at no fault without seeing her shortcomings hahah

LMAO Paramour?!....you make him sound so VICTORIAN😆.

LOL I honestly don't know why everyone is getting so freaked out regarding this transition....they aren't going to show Adi actively trying to hide his feelings for Imlie from Malini....what they will show most likely as usual is that he will be in his own denial, lying to his own self for the longest time......the whole story is just built around Adi being perpetually confused and bailbuddhi😆....he will use excuses/deflections to avoid himself acknowledging the truth as well. Baaki ka kaam Imlie kar degi......they will both just be in angst and sacrificial mode for the longest time.

I haven't seen any sign so far to think the treatment won't continue to be this sensitive.....they are being very careful for many reasons....the age gap, the complicated situation of Malini being considered his wife both by him and Imlie.....so with all that in mind, I don't see anything to think TRP audience will disconnect.....everything is set up for IMLIE to get sympathy more than everyone else always😆.....cuz the fact of the matter is, that the girl has indeed had the most misfortune. ....so TRP audiences are also rooting for Imlie and Adi to get together cuz people forget, these past few epis have also shown their SAAJHEDAARI and complimentary aspects as husband-wife.

I repeat, please don't forget that TRP audiences ki eyes mein Imlie is likely the legit wife cuz he married her first and this entire journey is about when Imlie will get her valid haq in his life😆.

Hey, the entire theme of the show is so old worldly and nostalgic starting with Piya Tose. Paramour suits him well 😆

LMAO well to each his own but I don't really see Adi as a typical romantic hero.....he is a very compelling character in his complexities and that's what makes him interesting to watch. I honestly don't even know if I want to see him ever doing typical romance with Imlie.....what they have right now is so much more beautiful and meaningful....I'd like to see that maintained whenever they realize their feelings too.

So yeah, paramour is still too cheesy in my dictionary😆

TRPs is an annoying matter for me to even worry about but a number of shows I've watched dropped storylines I liked/went off air too soon due to dropped TRPs. But I don't really care about TRPs themselves myself.

With regards to GM, he was absolutely open about Malini too... I was not expecting that at all. I should have, he's been nothing but straightforward in interviews but I never expected him to call Malini's character out as 1D 😂 That more than anything gives me good expectations as to what is happening with regards to the show. And yeah he basically called out Adi Imlie as end-game (which has been obvious from the start though...)

Oh my cheesy! 😆 That was/ is Aditya and Malini

My concept of Victorian heroes are more out of a Jane Austen novel. I doubt there will ever be any of the regular romance at all with Imlie to ever get cheesy. And I do not even foresee any need for it.

I don't get it either.. just caz he said there will be heartbreak and sympathy for malini doesn't mean they are gonna make their protagonists look negative or not be sensitive about this...this show is anyways doing a great job of maintaining that thin line that is there to show.. so I Don't see that changing either.. that would be like throwing everything in the khaddha.. that will dig themselves 😆 itne bailbhuddhi nahi hain makers .. thode bohat slip ups fine chalta hai but itna major flip in treatment I Don't see it coming
