Ok, so this episode was kinda chugging along at a medium pace and then the precap hit me like WOAH😆.
But before I get to the precap, I'm going to back up a bit. Just yesterday some of the folks here were predicting that Adi will miss Imlie if she leaves to go to Mrs. C's house and he might be worried for how she's treated there......I didn't think all that would come true so soon and HOW😆
The first scene of the epi didn't give any indication how things would get by the end.....Malini intervened between Adi-Imlie arguing over the roti, split the roti and called both of them Nursery waale kids who care for each other but still keep fighting😆.....after this, Adi shared a little flirty moment with Malini in front of Imlie and they both left the kitchen....Imlie felt a pang, then she looked at that half roti and remembered Adi insisting that she eat the whole thing....and that was enough to make her smile again😆.....such little things give her happiness.
Malini actually believed her mom wanted Imlie over to apologize🤣.....beyond LOL.
Anyways, the other surprising turn of events was Adi coming home from work in the evening and instantly noticing Imlie's absence....😆.....ofcourse Adi being Adi, can't admit he was feeling her absence, so it was coded in bits like, "Why is the house so quiet today"? 😆....then him thinking he could hear Imlie doing aarti in the mandir, but it turned out to be Nidhi😆.....then him checking if Imlie was studying with Badke Kaka but she wasn't there either....LOL Adi walked the whole house searching for her but kabhi maanega nahin that he was looking for his Jhalli😆. He finally got back to his room and saw a note from Malini on the mirror....."Miss me"😆.....again, such irony....Malini is asking him to miss her but he is only missing Imlie even without Imllie asking for anything😆. I had to laugh when he again thought it was Imlie behind him with the chai but it turned out to be Sundar😆.....and Adi got so pissed he didn't even want chai anymore😆.
The real twist though came in his reaction to learning that Malini took Imlie with her to go see Mrs. C.....I thought given how Adi's focus is usually more on preserving his relationship with Malini always, he would only worry that Imlie might tell the truth of their marriage there at Chaturvedi house....surprisingly his worry went to Imlie and how she will be treated by Mrs. C.
Then came the precap😆.....Like WOAH.....Babusahib naamak Volcano basically ERUPTED on Malini didi😆....and why? Cuz he is worried for IMLIE.....I so didn't see this coming so early....just that morning, Adi-Malini seemed back in their relaxed zone again.....but the moment it turned out that Imlie could be hurt in that house, all the repressed emotions that Adi usually successfully suppresses seem to be bursting out of him yet again. Dare I say, I saw shades of Ambulance wala Adi again😆.....SO panicked and SO upset in his worry over Imlie.....He basically seems to be full on lashing out at Malini for putting Imlie in a situation where she's been hurt.....Such an emotional reaction for a nakli rishta, Babusahib? 😛. Talk about a protective instinct bursting out latently.
Looks like Mrs. C said something truly terrible to Imlie that seems to have hurt Adi to this extent seeing Imlie in pain.....and along with that, his other frustrations also seem to be coming out with Malini....him asking her directly ki don't you know what your mother is like? 😆.....Why did you marry me if you knew I was middle class only and that wasn't good enough for you? 😆
Damn, these cracks are forming more quickly than I anticipated.....lol are Adi-Malini really headed for a big split after this or will they manage to paper over it as usual?😆
