Imlie is a scholar student and Aditya is well aware of that. In fact , he thinks Imlie has a great amount of vanity of her education. " Aapne aapko bahut padi likhi samajhti ho na.. "

Imlie is in fact very very proud of her being a scholarship winning student , as sh should be.

It's only the 1st reason, nothing else , also she's from a lower socioeconomic status , somehow he does have a negative idea about people from rural set up , like many people from the city does. He can't help it.

I don't think there's anything left to discuss what is his problem with the marriage with Imlie , within the show itself he's talked about it at least 10 times so much so that now it has become boring.

Also , his screen time is consistently going to get reduced with Tripathis, Chaturvedis, Malini Imlie scenes , Imlie Sundar, Mithie worrying about Imlie and NN taunting her etc. So he'll have ample free time. Already he's enough free time to like every single of 700 + fan comments on his insta ! Clearly velle baitha hai 🤣
