Adilie's Friendship Journey

Did anyone notice kaise adi ke liye imlie tum se tu hogai 1 min mein when imlie called him shehri langor? jaise koi bahut purana bichra hua close friend wapas mil gaya hai use? not only a lover n husband but it also looked like one BF is begging to another BF to wake up n not to leave him again.

7 saal mein jo do log ap se tum nehi ban paye shadi ke bad bhi unke bech kya koi pyar hai yeh baat meri samajh se bahar hai?! inke ap-ap kehkar ek dusre ko bulana dekhkar toh yehi maloom hota hai ki woh dono toh friends bhi nehi hai, lovers toh bahut door ki baat hai.

aur adilie ko dekho aise behave karte hai jaise bachpan se dono best friends cum lovers hai.

"Ae imlie ut na utt " bola tha usney😎 "chapad chapad karti ho waise toh"...do baar bola usney woh aur highlights adi ke dialogues jab usney imlie ko gali lagi suna uske baad police wale sey lekar end tak uske saare dialogue ache the...imlie ko jhagaake rakhne ke liye jo bhi bole jaa raha tha cute tha bhaut...bilkul non stop bole jaa raha tha imlie ki tarha

Adilie immediately clicked and had an easy camaraderie going on since day 1. Their easy friendship with each other and their striking comfort level , it was amazing . In my college they call it vibing with each other readily. Kaun kahega dono abhi abhi mile hai , aise jaise bachpan ki dosti hai .

Which is why I keep going back to their first Pagdandiya wala track episodes. So many precious little moments. So much little details.

I still remember Imlie scolding Aditya for wasting time in a wardrobe change when going to Satyakam's man or she making fun in the STD booth where Aditya was calling Malini.

Also not just superficial friendship, Aditya grew a surprise connection to Imlie in a span of few days. When she grew silent during a few occasions, he can read her sadness behind the silence and even guess the reason correctly.

Compare it with the so called 7 year old relationship, relationship to dur dhang ke friendship bhi nehi lagte. They're so rigid and formal with each other jaise koi interview mein baitha hai aur jabardasti relax hone ke koshish kar rahe hai 😆 And their aap aap made me feel like formal colleagues instead of college friends.

No wonder Aditya got cold feet every time he thought of marrying her and kept on postponing it. Agar Imlie na hoti, to sayad Malini se shadi bhi nehi karti.

you are absolutely right they look like office colleagues rather than friends 😆 n yes agar imlie na hoti toh kabhi usse shadi bhi na karti 😆 apne ego ke chakkar mein isne galti kardi malini se shadi karke 😆

@MusicMuse you put that perfectly 👏 Aditya is like an open book with Imlie. He’s always been honest & real with her. Even the times when he’s been awful to her, I could still appreciate that he was airing his emotions to her.

On the other hand, there’s a 7yr old relationship that still seems stuck at “hey will we ever break the ice?” stage.
