I agree with you on the Saahir Zeenat scene. If she means nothing to him that why the need to prove her wrong? If a stranger came in, who meant nothing to Saahir, would he feel this obligated to tell them look I have proven you wrong? Clearly she was and still IS someone who matters to him, if he has to work that hard to prove her wrong and then flaunt about his achievements to her face. Its almost like his mouth was saying one thing and mind was saying another. Plenty of people we meet in life try to put us down sometimes even sibling, sibling rivalry? Who takes it to heart this much? Again I still feel that even if this is just vengeance than I still believe that the healthiest thing for Saahir is to just let it go. Its not going to get him anywhere. It's almost like he was not almost he was not only flaunt his success but also the fact that he has moved on to Zeenat. You know what they say when we try to get someone jealous? It's the greatest sign that you still have feelings for them. Sure Saahir is a man over his ex-wife.
The apology looked a bit rushed! I would have preferred it be a bit longer where feelings of both Saahir and Arzoo could be discussed. Just like a few episodes back I was disappointed with Saahir. Here I was disappointed with Arzoo. Arzoo this is man who used you as a pawn for business, played with your life, forcefully married you, conned you, and burned down a factory. Yet you just assume he must have had his reasons. His promise is no valid reason for me. It shocked me that she didn't even need some insight into what was motivating him.
P.S. Wasnt Saahir suppose to go to jail according to ACP anyway? 😕
Great post Sush! And great collages Shweta Di!
