@Sush
your third post, wasnt it Alvira who lied?
I agree with the ACP. I mean he sees Arzoo in the pool with Zeenat and that is more than enough evidence to conclude she is trying to kill Zeenat. I mean REALLY? He didn't even ask her, her side of the story. This was my problem from early on in this show that people just see things in jump to conclusions including Saahir but the cop is an investigator by profession. I am guessing legal investigation works the same way in desi soaps as medicine and medical science NO LOGIC AT ALL.
Coming to the Saahir Arzoo scene it was well executed I thought. I hope its foreshadowing that from now on Saahir won't doubt Arzoo or her character as much as he did earlier. That he has learned from his mistakes and not to be as judgmental as he was earlier on. That Saahir and Arzoo are on the same side from now on. I guess scenes like these are the CVs subtle ways of showing that Arzoo's emotions also should matter. But they fail to do the same on some of the bigger issues. Thank God for these small mercies. That after all the drama and false accusations Saahir could think of a way to bring a smile on Arzoo's face.
So they established, there are two people in the house Saahir trust for now. One is Arzoo his wife. The other is Alvira he didn't take a second to point out to Arzoo the favor Alvira was doing by defending Arzoo in front of the cop. He just assumed she was telling the truth. So for Alvira he always assumes the positive without even thinking? Just like for others he once always used to assume the worse (like the jail incident)? Hmm... It's obvious between ladylove and mother who he is going to choose in the future. I already see an angry Saahir blasting Arzoo in the precap.
If Alvira really is negative and she has not made Saahir be able to sense this all these years than A. she is very calculative and smart. Or Saahir as usual doesn't pay attention minor details like he doesn't at the office, Anam got away with a lot behind his back. Or this goes back to his past he craves maternal affection. But clearly Alvira didn't give him that much because he was still very much in need of affection after being in her company for several years.
Your son surely likes his mommy's undivided attention! So cute!
Great Post Sush! And lovely collages Shweta Di!
