I agree. I had mentioned in one of my posts in the morning today that the Creatives cannot change the character of Saahir overnight. Personality changes happen over a period of time and yet some traits remain. Even a sense of humor has a right time and place, else its lost in translation. 😕 "Kahaan they hum"?? What was that? I couldn't laugh, if that was humor!! A kiss (I didn't feel anything!- Sorry) was probably on the cards and Aarzoo walks off to close the door saying someone is out to harm Saahir. Then pl pack your bags and go to Timbaktu. I would hav liked it better if she had shyly moved away and slowly moved towards the door to bolt it and turned to look straight at Saahir. The scene would hav been more effective w/out any dialogues. The kiss was def misplaced!!!
Twenty minutes of only Saahir and Aarzoo and I found the chemistry missing. Sorry folks. Lastly, the shayari. To read it out ya phir arz karne ke liye, you need a good baritone. Saahir is a shayar and has a fairly deep voice, but maybe its been 7 yrs, so I hav to forgive him. He needs to practice how to read out /belt out shayaris esp the famous ones. Pause, look, feel and then speak. Urdu diction was missing...😕
I was disappointed with the episode.

I dont fully agree with this Rekha because I dont think just because Sahir was a bit chilled out and joked a bit , his personality changed .. no it dint because when Aarzoo was in deep sleep , he was still the same Sahir keeping his hawk eye on Aarzoo and remaining wide awake thinking who is doing all this .. But after Aarzoo woke up with a nightmare and started panicking , he tried to act all cool with her just to de-stress her and make sure she does not panic since its his headache and not hers ... What he did with her last night was his way to de-stress her and nothing else especially after all the attacks on both /...
Sahir always had his humourous side if I remember .. while faking love to her , when she made him parathas , he joked her about the earlier times when she wrote her resignation letter or their flight encounter and laughed about it .. its just that he often hides this personality of his but that does not mean he can never joke or act chilled out ..
Again in the end When Aarzoo talks about Zeenat and this family , he gets angry and walks off .. so its clear that he is still the same Sahir who is still haunted by his past .. but when he is with Aarzoo , he tries his best to act a bit soft with her because he knows that someone is trying to attack or frame her ... so he wants her to feel at peace and not take much stress ... thats my reading of the whole scenario .
To elaborate further, I felt in the entire episode that Saahir was not himself. He was not comfortable! Even while moving towards Aarzoo (thou the hug post door bolting looked genuine, but then again Aarzoo took the initiative there) or sitting at the pool and splashing water on Aarzoo,and eating breakfast, it looked forced. The charm and the love did not glisten in his eyes. He looked lost at some places. He was smiling, then serious. Something was amiss!!!!!😕
Thats because he was indeed putting up an act to de-stress her and divert her attention from his own past which he does not want to reveal to her yet ... But in middle of all that , at times he was genuinely getting touched with her gestures like making noodles for him and stuffs like that ,..
The worst thing to happen was again lack of continuity. Saahir and Aarzoo fainted and then what happened? Nobody knows. We are left to assume a lot of things here. The passion with which he held Aarzoo after being poisoned and passing out, I didn't see that here. Was he not keen to reveal his past to Aarzoo? Why? What was he afraid off?
I agree here .. Continuity has been a problem .. mayb we got to assume that Doctor chcked both and both were fine after which Aarzoo went to sleep while Sahir was wide awake keeping a chk .. 😕
I know I will be thinking aloud here. but are there two Saahir's here? Is that the secret that Alriva is trying to hide?Double role?? 😲😲When Saahir passed out did someone else take his place? Is that why Saahir is being targeted? We don't know what has happened in the last 7 years before Aarzoo came in.
Not two Sahirs .. but Sahir does hv dual personality .. he is like any normal human who is chilled out and has got sense of humour but he often hides it due to his past skeletons ..
I was looking forward to everything happening the way you hav penned. In fact, as I hav mentioned in one of earlier posts, a 'French kiss' is what it should begin with. But it looks like 'a kiss' may never happen. 😕My POV.😃😃
Kiss on small screen can never happen 😆 .. even if it happens , it will b edited out .. max we can get camera angle kiss where we hv to assume they kissed 😆
