The week that was - beyond words!

So after frightening Friday (aka coal walking nikaah) where viewers ran for the hills...we entered this week with expectations fully managed. But as usual on HS, 'socha kya, kya hua, bewafa tere pyar mein..'..no no, I promised myself I would be positive so here are my highlights of the week... :-)

1) Arzoo didn't marry Sahir because he was blackmailing her.
So luckily Sahir wasn't shown going as far as attempting to kill Arzoo's family and Aarzoo's decision to marry was based on her mutinying family. She also cut a deal with him and went in with both eyes wide open. Hurrah!

2) We got a SAaz scene
After a week of a very annoying Arzoo, we got to see a bedroom scene where Arzoo backs off and SaAz get to practise their favourite subject - chemistry! Not the best SaAz scene ever but after a near 2 week famine, it was like finding a vada pau wala in the middle of a desert. Boy, was I hungry...

3) The blessed Moon bracelet!
It remains very much so on Arzoo's wrist. I loved the bit where Sahir notices it as he removed the bangles and looks at Arzoo, who doesn't know where to look! He rubs his finger over it and leaves it there. 'Yep she still loves me' he thinks. What else does this tell me? Arzoo can say what she wants, but the fact that that bracelet remains firmly on her wrist is a clear indication of where her heart is. And that's stuck, very much so on Sahir. So how long can she keep up this 'I hate you' facade? Not long before you break darling...

4) Alvira - my only hope!
So my take is, the only person I can pin any hopes on is Alvira. She wants to see SaAz happy together and she will do whatever it takes to make that happen. So I'm joining team Alvira. She is my only hope!!! This week we see her up to some strange mischief. Alvira aunty, I'm not too sure where you're going with this and it all seems a little 'koo koo' to me, but if it will bring SaAz together I'm right behind you!!!

5) Arzoo - less annoying
So not sure if I'm just managing my expectations a little too well, but Arzoo was less annoying by Friday. Was happy to see she went to work. Not sure why she was acting like the boss though. They showed she was being nice to that lady until Sahir joined and she went back to annoying Arzoo mode. I think they are trying to show us that Arzoo is still Arzoo but feels she needs to put on an act in front of Sahir. (Nice to see the employee also gave Arzoo a weird look with the tea/coffee comment). She even went into a slightly teasing mode with the 'behetar' scene, enjoying Sahir getting annoyed. She knew he could convince Nausheen so wasn't really a proper condition. She gave into him. :-). And then the water scene was again good to see Sahir look at her and do that look. Yep...that's my wifey...23 going on 5...
I also was happy to see her scared resulting in her getting all pally with Alvira aunty again and not flinching when Sahir touched her. I'm telling you, annoying Arzoo ain't gonna last long...

6) The change in genre
LOL...seriously, I don't know what to say with this one except where in the world did Rubina come from? And why does everyone know her except me? Surely I didn't overlook her presence over the past few weeks?? I think I'm losing it :-)...
You know what? I'm ok with this storyline as of today. Yday, I was so down about it I didn't even want to watch the episode. But today...I feel it will bring SaAz closer so I'm going to wait and watch what next week brings...and I now rather annoyingly want to know who the hell is doing all this BS...and if there is an attempt on Arzoo's life? Can u imagine what Sahir will do????
Ah also Arzoo is no longer wearing those big trousers anymore.

7) Zeenat
I think Arzoo is going to discover pretty soon what state Zeenat is in, but not before displaying fits of extreme jealousy. If she doesn't find out about the betrayal though...we may be in for some further scenes of annoying Arzoo but hoping the cvs have learnt their lesson. I'm not sure I'm for her entering the house though...hopefully my hero Alvira will convince Sahir to keep her in the hospital. Can't be healthy for SaAz to have wifey nmero uno in the house.

Some seriously annoying things this week I need the creators to address:

1) lose the montage. Arzoo looks about 50 in it. Replace with Sahir emerging from his pool and brace yourselves for a trp surge...

2) get rid of the tikka...its way too distracting and I feel like ripping it off every time I see it. It amazes me that it doesn't move an inch!

3) Sahir darling - seriously get a trim and what in the world did u do to your hair in that last scene?!


For next week - May the force be with us all!! Who knows which genre we'll see!!! :-)

Lovely sum up vd927 ... Bloopers crazy plots apart the thought that this show might be pulled off air is playing havoc in my mind...so so wish that sony would rubbish these rumours and we get back to watching the show in peace...am sure left in peace it can redeem itself...theres still hope...atleast i hope so

I somehow feel Alvira is not all that positive...the way she was snooping around eavesdropping on Arzoo and Nausheens conversation.
I agree with you regarding that "thing" on Arzoo's head...I prefer to call it that.. 😆 ...Arzoo needs to remove it pronto. It was so distracting today...I was watching it intently hoping it will slip somehow... 😆
KA for now is looking really harmless...but u never know.
Where did zara and myrah disappear when all this hungama was happening?
And that new servant...when was she even there? She was the one who ripped Arzoo's dresses...and the way Alvira was staring at her...I guess Alvira is behind it too...
sahir needs a hair makeover ASAP...aur saha nahi jatha!!!
The love is there...it is evident...and with zeenat in the picture...more jealously track ahead...

Fabulous post as usual VD 😊 You are just so positive that at times I just want to 🤗🤗 you I was so down and out looking at the episodes on thursday and friday that I wanted to scream like a banshee. The CVS really know how to give a Zor ka jhatka. My feeling is that the Sony guys decided to cut down on the finances and brought in the actors from CID and Aahat as they are phasing out better paid actors.

omg!!! so even u noticed sahir rubbed the bracelet...i thought i was imagining things...i just loved how...before rubbing that bracelet...he was removing her jewellery just to ease her uncomfortness...but the moment his eyes fell on the bracelet...something just changed...the look in his eyes...and then as he proceeded to rake off her dupatta...sahir miya was surely in trouble
