How do you mend a broken heart, where do I start?
Do I have to first lay it out all part by part?
It did not exactly crack into big chunks of pieces
For then I could just join it back holding tight at places
It just disintegrated into tiny shards like pouring rain
Each one piercing what was left in unfathomable pain
What a pathetic bloody mess it has made all around me
No way to walk about without first stepping into this debris
Hold out your hands and scoop it all up as best you can
They are parts of you after all, not something for the trash can
They will mend themselves whole when the time is right
It's ok if you don't understand it how, I know you will be alright
