Nicely analysed.
I found that too... he is not insulting people around him, he is self centered person with lots of emotional baggage inside him, and he likes to deal with them alone.
His rude behavior is just to make him aloof from other people.
He is not arrogant but strict and quite, and not making any fuss on any reasons.

I'm loving his character 100% right now.

he is a very homogeneous character till now, bang on at his point, not tolerant noise pollution in a sense that creates melodrama, hates liars, loves to achieve his set goal, and does not interfere in others business.
I love the fact that just how ppl used to complain about Gul Khan heroes manhandling the female leads, till now Sahir hasn't gone that route and from whatever i have seen, he seems to follow basic ethics, and has a good heart.

I love him ..
