Anjali Mukhi to play Abhigyaan's love interest in Shapath-TOI
Life OK has been successful in entertaining the viewers with its gripping investigative stories.
Now, the makers of the show are planning to bring in a mature love story to give the show a new lease of life. The good-looking inspector Abhigyaan ( Piyush Sahdev) will soon be seen in love with an older woman played by Anjali Mukhi.
Sources inform that in the upcoming episodes Shaurya (Sarwar Ahuja) will get caught in a bribe case and everyone will turn against him on the show. The show will go the 'Dil Chahta Hai' way where Akshay Khanna's character falls in love with an older women played by Dimple Kapadia.
The story will go in flashback mode and inspector Abhigyaan's love story will be revealed. Anjali Mukhi, who is currently seen in 'Saas Bina Sasural' will be his lost love Suhasini.
However, the show will take an interesting turn when it will be revealed that Suhasini is Shaurya's mother who abandoned him when he was young.
When contacted, Anjali confirmed the news and said, "It is really fun to play this character. I am very fortunate that off late I have got a chance to portray different characters. The unit is very good and I am having a great time working on the show."
