Pratyusha - You couldn't do any better?

Seriously Pratyusha - you did not get a better offer than this? You had to accept this vaahiyaat serial? Vaahiyaat serial with a cheap characterization of Ammaji and her beloved son!

I would appreciate if you do not talk like this about an actor. How well do we know the actors and celebrities that we can comment on them and their choices? We as viewers have no idea what she had to go through to get this role. There is so much competition in this industry. Btw, she is a brilliant actor. And she is justifying her role to the T. Storyline changes with each passing day and I am liking it very much. I guess to each their own.

Pratyusha did the right choice, the story is the reality , I am enjoying this show.

While the current storyline may not be satisfying viewing for everyone, it is the catalyst for Sagarika to react and much as we would hate to admit, serials are a reflection of happenings in real life and maybe not in cities, but in rural India there are many cases of mother's dominance in a son's marriage and maybe even a responsible factor for its break-up.

Regarding Pratyusha's choice, the serial is yet to unfold, it is still in its fledgling stage, sure she knows what she is doing. This role is different and she is superb in her depiction of the role of a girl who stands up for her dignity! Every nuance, every expression is bang on, so creatively, she has tested new waters and is excelling in it.

No, if she could, she would have, don't you think?

Agreed, Pratyusha had that caliber and she proved her best, but then just go round of all the channel shows, all the female protagonists are subjected to torture. Here Sagaarika characterization is different. She is bold, traditional, educated, sophisticated, Polite yet firm in what she believes and daring at the same time. Which makes the character apart of the rest. May be other shows are good in their own way.

I support Pratyusha's choice.

All shows that are trp grabbers have had oppressive matriarchs at one point in their shows, who have either reformed or in the process. Guess this is the standard formula for Hindi serials, so looking forward to how this serial changes tracks. but as Padma has rightly expressed, the heroine depicted by Pratyusha is no door-mat and one who stands for her rights!
