ok me 1st
it was a feb or march afternoon(cant recall exact day, date, time, but sure it was an afternoon)
i was in home as usual, bunking my college(i am very irregular from prior my class one)
ok, now every afternoon, i used to watch a movie, or two or three simultaneously, using d jump button
dat day, either all movies dat were showing were not good, or seen many times, so i was surfing d channels.
in dis situation, i usually see one epi of ne Kekta show(u can see one or two Kekta epi once in a year,if u try to see more, u can get scared),or ne sports channel,or just see ads in all channels
so i was surfing, suddenly saw a beautiful lady(dat was ofcourse Sonal),for me it was almost love at 1st sight( 😆 just kidding, but yes i liked her pressence very much).
but there was a feeling dat i have seen her earlier, but cudnt recall where, (after a long time, i got d info, where i have seen her, in d bar-one ad, a long time back)
back to d show..
with dat girl who has a western look, and dressed in western outfit, there was a man with a boy-ish look, in formals.
my sixth sense told me dat dat was d hero. who was dat short boy with my luv? i felt 😡 (dat was ofcourse AV)
but i didnt know at dat time dat very soon i wud start liking him also.
and most imporatnt is dat, i didnt know one day i wud bcome crazy over d show.
now cut to d show again..
after a short time, there came a commercial break,as in dat day,i was not watching ads, i changed d channel, and forgot which channel it was.
after a long time when i remembered dat i was looking something which has a sweet girl,( i even didnt know, what exactly it was, telefilm or serial or something else)
i started randomly searching 4 it, but cudnt find it. either there was another break, or it was already over, or there were others in d sreen at dat time.
i didnt know nething ab d show, name of d show, channel(i used to watch some prgs on s1,but didnt notice dat it was s1),nothing, i came know all these(and d real names of d lead pair) a long time later.
so 1st day 1st show is over here
after few hours i forgot everything ab d show,
actually i started watching it from abdullah epi, if i get a chance i will write ab d experience in some other day.it is very much funny

my 1st day of whole show was much later but had seen the show in bits when my granny, mom n sis(don't beleive me my granny is also an AV fan she don't know his mname but she tells he looks nice) use to watch HK on friday 1
They use to see it eagerly and I use to study as I was in 10th

After my prelims I just thought to take a break so it was friday 1 I saw starone and things just clicked and it was pune epi

I liked AV n more then else HK serial so I strarted watching it regularly so regularly that I didn't even miss it during my boads
My vacation started and I use to watch all the repeats

And then I fell 4 the charm of AV

i had given up watchin all shows on tv n decided that im gonna watch only song trailers, i had startd dislikin jassi who used to take shit from arman n shout at her frens nandu n sameer soni
ne ways i usd to lik ss's character in dat stupid show kasauti y i usd to watch kasauti ?obviously cause my mom watchd it, so i strted watchin it from 3-4 epi on
n d first memory of av is in his red vest ?? shud i say sittin on d comp n i just waited 4 this cute guy to overact n play too smart so that i could reject him as yet another goodlukin non-actor like chaitanyas n tarun khannas n wat not but no need to tell u guys how av just stole d show 😃

Hmmmm...interesting topic...Ok I knew there was smthing called HK on Star one coz I hd seen the trailors...Just as I had seen the trailors of other programmes on it like Pyaar ki kashti mein...Smhow, I wsnt very impressed with what i saw in the promo, seemed like just another hate turned into love story...

Well, then in Feb last year, came back from college one day at 5 in the evening on a Wednesday, absolutely exhausted and in desperate need for sm entertainment...Now as it happens, this one time slot when usually there is absolutely NOTHING watchable on tv...so I was just surfing the channel and halted on Star one...It ws the episode after M' murder, the scene where Aakash was sitting in the police station and then I remember there was the Board meeting going on when Shelly announced that Vish is the new GM...I ws like 'yeah, the love's brewing now...' but nthing more...
Didnt have the patience to get engrossed in the story line of a new show...

But then the next Wed, it was the same scenario and while channel surfing, I ws back on Star One...This time it was the Pune episode...And the magic started working on me...

It still took me smtime though to get totally hooked...And AV addiction grew slowly, but I think by Aug-Sept I ws dead gone...And since then there's been no hope for me 😳 😳

hey contrary to rupy i used to like hk's promos i.e d hk title track it seemed lik a nice show about gender wars but in d begining it was a bit slow n draged n guys hav u noticed av is not that polished in his acting till d latest episodes . swati reminded me that av startd lukin good (to us) from pune episode onwards

Ok, another confession folks...While I was watching HK the first time round, I often used to find the incidents in the hotel rather absurd and unreal...Some of them were ok, but others I found strange...For instance the love guru episode..And the Nawab episode...And I used to get bugged by all the side-happenings which didnt make any sense to me...But then I used to enjoy the Vish-Shelly parts so much that by the time the episode ended, I ws left asking for more...

Of course, by the time the serial ended, I hd started enjoying the episodes in totality for their very goofiness and their absurd humour...And I discovered how they could often be really tongue-in cheek...Thats why when I am watching the re-runs this time, have no complaints 😳 😳

If v r talking about first time watching HK, it was the airport scene in the first episode and back in the hotel when vish realises the mistake.
Like Dr.jack i used to watch more of music channel after all the shows were monotonous.
When star one came just for curiosity i used to visit it.
I think i have seen PARTS of all the episodes , may be without realising that it was the same show i was watching .
In episode 15 i switched on during the scene where nick return to B'bay. And i never switched off or changed channel. or never stopped watching.
I became HK fan from episode 15 ( i can say this episode no now)
Though i liked AV the best in the show , I never thought i can ever become a fan of an actor. But i was wrong, and I became 'THE AV FAN' from Holi episode.
Even when i went to native place during summer, the firstthing i did at everyone's house was checking out for star one. Half of them had not tuned on to the channel.
Then HK was like an addiction.
As i have mentioned somewhere, usually episodic serials r watched for it's episodic contents, here was a show which i saw more for vish-shelly love-story.
Even though that guru episode was stupid. I m waiting for that for Vish's reaction scenes. Also a scene - a nice conversation betn vish-shelly before guru arrives where Vish reminds her about their airport meeting and talks of his increased efficiency after his pomotion.
I can go on and on and on .....
This is the magic of HK, when u refer to one thing , u remember so many other things, u just can't stop writing, thinking.

hey swati ur so rite even if i used to go out of town d first thing i cheked in a hotel was star one . infact d holi epi i saw out of town only n when i saw av smiling in that now extreemly popular way i started cryin to my bro "hey look this guy is sweet" n my cousin started lookin at me like i was a weirdo ,which incidently i believe we all have become 😆
