TRP is low that doesnt necessarily means that the show is less popular.
Because TRP is primarily depends on the audience who are watching drama on Television and from my observation the aged women mostly watch show in TV and they like Saas Bahu drama more than any youth based show since the youth based show doesnt reflect their life.
While the youth based show are watched mostly on Internet on youtube or any other media. Therefore although they might be very popular but they never help to enhance the trp.
Finally I found a recent article on Internet where it is mentioned that the trp is highly manipulated by channel and sometimes they give bribe to the trp maker for displaying high trp. NDTV has already make a case on that and demand some alimony from the trp maker authority.
I used to like Rista.com although its trp was never high. But they closed that show for that. I am really scared that the sony authority might also close this show very soon if they find low trp continuously.
I am just praying that its trp is increased as I dont want this show to close very soon.
