Actress Kate Bosworth, whose love for horses fetched her first big role in Hollywood, avoids them because she can't risk an injury while working on a movie.
According to sources, Bosworth won her big break in Hollywood in The Horse Whisperer, thanks to her horse sense. But now she rarely gets the opportunity to go for a gallop.
She says: "I haven't been able to ride for a long time, because it's a bit of a risk when you are working. I miss it. Riding competitively was actually my dream before I got into acting. In fact, I ended up acting because I loved horses so much."
"I was living in Connecticut, and I heard that there was an open casting call in New York for The Horse Whisperer and that they needed natural riders. I ended up auditioning for it and I got the part."
