Talk about a guy's worst nightmare! Brad Pitt can't be happy that his ex-wife and his former fiance, Gwyneth Paltrow, 33, have become new BFFs. After hearing about the married pair's split, Gwyneth reached out to Jen and the two have been burning up phone lines ever since. "They've been exchanging tons of e-mails and calls," says a source close to Paltrow. "There's some deep bonding going on." But Brad isn't the only thing the pair, who are expecting to meet up at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, have in common!

THEY'RE BOTH A-LIST ACTRESSES:Aniston and Paltrow, who both hail from showbiz families, share the same publicist, Stephen Huvane, and are repped by the same agency, CAA.

THEY GREW UP IN NYC: Aniston and Paltrow are both big-city girls. Aniston went to the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, while Paltrow attended tony The Spence School — on opposite sides of Central Park!

THEY SWAP BRAD TALES: "I think they love to bitch about Brad," says the source. "They know him better than anybody else, and they get a real kick out of swapping stories."

THEY'RE SKEPTICAL OF ANGELINA JOLIE? "It wouldn't surprise me if they're both pretty contemptuous of Brad's relationship with Angelina, and they're fairly certain that it's not going to last."
