She did, I really want to the watch the Reader.. it seems really interesting. The whole thing about her affair with the younger guy and her being a Nazi.

but I still think Meryl Streep should've won, she's been nominated SO many times.

15 nominations..and she's not won yet! ohhh...
BTW i didn't see Milk but why did it deserve the 'best pic' award more than SM? All i know its about a gay guy who gets elected in us gov or something! Atleast Sean won best actor tho...

It was about the first openly gay politician.. and this was during the days when homosexuality was far less public and it's just a really great movie. Sean Penn was fantastic.. and also James Franco was in it.. he's really hot lol (: But that's a different story haha. Also, his story is really important in nows time considering that Califronia not too long ago banned gay marriage..*boo. My best friend is this gay guy who I've known since I was little, so I care about message getting out there for the gay community.

I had like no idea it was a true story! It seems intresting seeing i never saw the trailer just a few friends were discussing it! I didn't even know Calafornia banned Gay Marriage but then again i live in the UK so it makes sense, though i was born in Calafornia.I didn't know there were still issues like this about gays and their rights especially in the US!

^ There was a bill called Propostion 8.. in which if you voted YES it meant you wanted to ban gay marriage..adn if you voted NO you wanted not to ban it.. it was really weirdly worded.. adn sadly the Prop 8 passed..which is strikingly odd considering it's Califronia.. and I always thought califronia was very ahead of the times.. it was a real disappointment..but hopefully soon gays and lesbians will have the fundamental right of marriage.. in my opinion it's about LOVE not Christianity.

It's a really wonderful movie.. great acting and just really well written.
