It seems TV trend is soon going to take a shift from replacing all the saas bahu sagas with mythological and historical shows, which are getting appealed by the audiences these days. After the huge success of Imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya, Life OK's Devo Ke Dev Mahadev, Zee TV's Jhansi Ki Rani, followed by Colors which is also gearing up for Jay Jagjanani Maa Durga, it seems TV scenario is on its verge to change.

And now the latest we have heard is that the owner of Spice Telecom, B.K.Modi is coming up with his own production house named Buddha Films and they are gearing up for a series on Buddha.

This particular show on Buddha's life will telecast on Zee TV as the channel has given their approval on the same. The casting for this show is on and is hunting for the actor, who will play Buddha.

We tried hard to get in touch with B.K.Modi but all our efforts were futile.

This is Zee's new upcoming show and may start after airing jodha akbar. It is heard that ramayan is going off air after june and since this is the historical show, it may either take a 7 pm slot or weekend slot. I don't think they give prime time slot for this budh. Many are saying that JA may take 10 pm slot since hum tum is a short term slot. Shd wait and watch :)

Coming to rituraj, We must say that PH saves money a lot and instead of hiring a new actors,they have asked rituraj to play a double role. But I liked him in this tauji role instead of inder shamra. This gives them an opportunity to prove their talent. Seems little intresting, but I don't think they make him connected to brother of Inder Sharma and this can't be possible also.

Not sure of Jodha akbar but Budda is weekend show... already article came saying that it will telecast on weekends only...

Jodha akbar either takes 8 PM (not sure because RSSI is all set to take leap and already new cast is announced) or 8.30 PM slot (chances are high if HD wonot take leap)

yes Inder and Tauji are not related, after precap it is clear... i made this post before watching precap 😉

there is no relation between Inder and Tauji ... Ritu raj is a very good actor and he can nail the character

@Bold: Oh!... article has already come, chalo fine,😊and I think JA will take either RSSI or 10 pm slot. I don't think Leap matters for it bcoz the current male lead will become son for the ekta (female lead) after leap. The post leap story of RSSI is not that much promising and don't think it stays long. The show is too boring and really more crap compared to HD. But leap is not always the solution for good ratings. If story line is good and interesting, everything will be fine and show runs successfully. Infact, HD is really lucky to have such a good cast, but unfortunately it is not making use of it and all talent is going wasted.😭

Its even more stupid that we are supposed to believe tau ji and inder sharma have different faces! uff. Is this show being made for illiterate, dumb and blind audience?

I think they introduced this track at the last moment and no other actor was available so they made Rituraj play this role. He's doing a good job no doubt.

I m sure no actors willing to play any role in hd dats why rituraj ji is dojng d same...or ila have no money to take any actor now...

why dont she remove unwanted characters n save money...😆

unwanted characters might be working for free to get some experience in this field 😉 😆

yes she can remove he unwanted characters like meher and that police guy(sorry i forgot his name) as if that guy is the only police in town😆 he came has secret agent during zara track even zara has gone but he stil there😆 everybody knows he is a cop now but why he is stil dressing up as masterji😆 illa and her weird ideas 😆 even meher is boring she should leave.
