Agree with you Kaya. Rati was superb!

One thing that bother me was HD writers!! At least I wanted them to show the truth facts. Because in the real world parents will worry about their children safety first. if the parents go against the villian wishes, then their child will undergo lot of physical and mental abuse and finally that scar will leave on children for ages!!!!

Hi ruhin...let me try to pen my thoughts on this...yes i agree with you that majority of people would think about their immediate family when faced with clear and present danger ( thats why i said that i do not feel rishi is wrong in the way he reacted), and if this was a real life situation most people would run to save their own child and then only think about other's children...I will give an you an example when the IC-814 flight was hijacked by terrorists, 200 people were kept captive there and all their families kept telling the govt to release 3 key terrorists in order to save the 200 people...and after a week of pressure the indian govt did release those 3 key terrorists...after the release one of those terrorists masterminded the twin tower attacks in US where more than 10000 people died and 2 others have been involved in the parliament attacks in delhi and assembly attack in kashmir...i am not saying that govt did wrong to release the 3 terrorist but try and see the consequences what happened. (i saw this in a 1 hour documentay on national geograpic recently)...so sometimes we have to make personal sacrifices for greater good...and indira is not the first person to do this
i have read so many biographies and autobiographies of politicians like gandhi etc where all of them had to make personal sacrifices for greater good, infact their relatives are always under threat from different sources who want to manipulate the countries policies, but these people have to act for public good
now this was about big people...there are so many normal people ...just like preethi mentioned in her post...the mothers and relatives of army, navy, police force send their kids to border when they know that there is major chance of injury or death...
so atleast in my opinion its not the matter of what most people will do in this situation but more about what is the right thing for indira to do in this situation...and if she is thinking about other's children and all future children who will be saved if she shuts down rajrani's child prostitution racket, well then it does not make her a bad mother infact it makes her an exceptionally good human being in my eyes

Kaya, i don't think here the question is why Indira didn't save Indu. If InSHi had taken a joint decision to save the other girls first and not think about Indu - then they would have been praised I'm sure.

In my profession I have see many moms (and dad's) abuse their kids and the kids are sometimes brought to us are in severe physical and emotional conditions. If such parents exist, then why not people like Indira, who would think of what how many moms out there stand to loose, if she saves Indu. There are people like this in the world. She has done this once before when Ishaan was kidnapped during the Dulari bus track also. Calling her a bad mom is really pitiful. I wonder then what would u call a guy who emotionally abused his child for 8 long yrs by distancing her and ignoring her - what ever ever reasons he may have had. If he is a perfect 'normal' father then yes sadly Indira is a terrible mom.
