Rishi's phone and the recorder in it are unique. The recorder was on all night and only six minutes were recorded. Nothing was overwritten. Also, Rishi, we are told, has no memory of the events of the previous night. I thought he was fibbing about that, but seems not. Indu walks in, plays the recording and Kabir stops her when he sees Husna approaching. Rishi, I thought, could have insisted on playing it because it only had drunken singing, a memory of drunken times together, but he did not. We did not see him trying to listen to it when he was alone either. So had he planned the recording or no?
And what is worse is that Indu handed Kabir the phone, but instead of deleting the recording, he gently pats her cheek, calls her a shaitaan, and hands the phone back to her. What is this Kabir Saab? Still hung over?
Indu hit upon the best way to get Babli to part with her Ammi. She buys her toys, chocolates, and ice cream and then asks her to take these and return to Lahore. Babli refuses and throws everything to the ground. Next thing Babli knows, she is being dragged all the way back to the house and up the staircase in Sharma Nivas. To see the photo of Indira Sharma. No one is able to stop Indu because she is Hercules and is unstoppable. The adults of the house merely chase her and no one even gently chides her and tells her that Babli has only one good leg. And even if she had two good legs, you cannot behave like a hooligan. But anyway...
Then passing the parcel happens. The parcel is Indira's photo. Indu wants to show her mother's photo to Babli, but the photo is being passed around because Husna (urf Indira) cannot suffer a shock. A tearful Indu searches everyone's hands, but no luck. This entire Sharma family is no good at disciplining her, but is very good at tricking her. Husna thanks the family once again and is about to leave when her dupatta gets stuck in her own photo.
By tomorrow, we will have Sajni, Kamini, Champa, Chameli, Anarkali (whatever they choose to call her) in SN.
One thing about the precap: I can understand that Rishi and the other Sharmas did not want Indira to see the photo today. They did not want to cause excess shock (though this is a presumption...who knows, she might have taken it really well). But then she saw the photo on her own. So then they could have told her the truth, right? Unless she faints and tomorrow's epi is some drama that is excessively dragged. Because now she wants to meet Rishi's Shrimatiji who is the bar dancer in the photo frame. Poor Rishi. Poor bar dancer!! Imagine being caught in the middle of some random third person's personal life, marital life, and extramarital life (this reference is to Kabir).
Bonus brownie points to this epi for giving us vintage Inshi. The BNHH whistling scene reminded me of good old days and afforded some smiles and light moments. 😃👏
