In that situations they will consider the total medical history of a patient/criminal.From their physical to psychological aspects are carefully examined before they forgive them and get the patients treatment done.There are lot of procedures in particular cases if not all murderers,criminals can escape from punishment saying they are mentally ill.

In Zara case,obviously its ILLA BEDI stupid out of Box idea.May be she is planning to get Zara back in future for Rishi.Since two roles is becoming very hectic for Rati,she had no other option but to close Zara very early.This is the safest move for her.

And regarding Zara case,apart from the show,if u consider reality wise,she has to be punished bcoz i dnt think law will give her forgiveness in the name of illness.Zara is perfectly alright.her problem is jealously and insecurity.

And Raj 90% crimes in the world are done bcoz of jealousy,hatred and for personal needs.That can't be taken as illness.So same implies for Zara

But in ILLA Bedi court anything can happen.We must give up our senses,logic and realistic approach so that we can watch this show peacefully.If not this show has the power to make our brain go out of order bcoz of its out of box ideas
