Today's epi was less atrocious. There are several reasons for this:
1) Radhey (Aadhey as Meher lovingly refers to him) dominated the first segment with a very heartfelt description about Guruma. We still do not know whether he has only heard about her mahima, or whether he has seen her and has failed to recognize her. Guruma Sunaina makes an entry. How she will be butchered, we can only wait and watch. Oh... Kutumb and Munna pay obeisance at the painted, ornamented, sandal-clad, lotus feet of Guruma.
2) Lahorewali could do what no one has managed till now. Bring tears to Indu's eyes. I was choked too. A candle flame reminds Lahorewali of a raging funeral fire - pyre - the very one she managed to escape from. Lahorewali is also getting her memory back...she sees Ishi horizontally inclined on the edge of a parapet and remembered, in a flash, one of their earliest moments together. (The original moment, I must admit, is one that I fondly remember too). The speed with which her memory is being restored, hopefully, Ishi will not have to carry out any indecent suggestions.
3) Inder spouted Sanskrit. I wish I knew the shloka equivalent of "Only fools invest their precious time in futile, fruitless pursuits like watching useless shows and writing about them too!"
On the whole, a much better epi than yesterday. As far as Fridays go, this was one of the less exciting ones. We were not left hanging at the edge of the cliff...but yes, Ishi has an idea (thanks to Inder's shloka). He will now empower Lahorewali by making her the lioness of Sharma Nivas. (Aside: Why would anyone aspire to that??)
