What if Indira (who is LW for now) was not in the state she is in now? What if she was fit and fine pre-leap Indira who had come back into Rishi's life? Would Rishi still pick Zara to move ahead in life with?

Herein lies my confusion. I would like to think that he would still have picked Zara because from his words today, it sounds like he accepted her for who she is. I would support him in this because this is what differentiated Rishi from Indira. Rishi always believed in moving on and living life and if it wouldn't have been for getting stuck with Shweta, I do believe that he would have moved on in life much sooner. If he had been given the proper time and space to grieve for Indira, he would have accepted her passing and would have been open to love again But this Shweta factor turned Rishi into someone who he never was- someone who would get stuck in one place in life. The Rishi that existed for the last 8 years was not Rishi at all.

In the end, we can analyze characters all we like but the sad truth is that the writers will make them say and do what they like for the convinience of the story so all of this has to be taken with a grain of salt.

I support the actions of rishi fully today, though his words may appear shallow for a while but think about his situation, he is stading in the midst of Past and Present. yes indira is an important responsibility and he needs to care indira so that she can understand everything and rishi can put down his issues and problems before her.

if rishi is standing for indira against all odds whats wrong in it???

if rishi still cares for a girl zara who doesnt even knows about her whats wrong in it????

if rishi doesnt wants to leave indira to mental hospital whats wrong in it???

well done rishi that you still didnt forget your responsibilities in the midst of love for zara, you still remember that you need to take care of indira.

it is zara who did wrong today by asking Rishi to admit indira in mental hospital??? all are right as well as wrong too... we cant blame a person, we need to blame situations first

I fully understand Rishi's dilemma!! I was thinking about this all weakend ! I was pretending to be writer and only conclusion I found was , what Rhishi did today!!! Accept ZARa as his wife. He does love her and we know that !! Zara loves him too!! Take Indira's responsibility and take care of her. He is not connecting to LW. We do not see any bond !! Every thing is his guilt and Sympathy . We saw him bathing her. he was not comfortable . if he is husband then he should not be uncomfortable while bathing his wife in need. He feels responsible for her present condition!!! His heart is connected to ZARA . I know forum is making fun of his "Ruh ki Awaz "but I am in with him on that . I think deep down in his mind , he is totally connected to Zara !! Lets play devil's Advocate and pretend that ZARa is not Indira . Indira did force him to marry Sweta so he will be happy . This was not by Rishis choice and he was very unhappy. Now he found his love. Zara and Rishi have every right to be happy because they love each other !!! He has every right to pursue his happiness. His life is full of sadness and losses!! In reality I have seen my friends in love with each other and later , they grow out of relationship and fall out of love and search for another love for their needs !! So nothing is wrong for second love and second chance!! It's very easy to bash Rishis character because Writers are providing enough material but once put your self in Rishis situation sleep on it and come to conclusion next morning and will talk about it!!!!!!
