What TV shows do you watch? "I love to watch my show and also I like to watch AXN.

Naughty student or an obedient one in school: I was very naughty, especially in my math and history classes, as I did not like the subjects as well as the teachers.(grins)

Importance of a Teacher in your life: A Teacher is very much the 'Guru' who helps you learn a lot in life. They are the main factors after parents who convert you into a better individual.

Message you would like to give your teachers on this Teachers' Day: I would like to dedicate a message to one of my teachers, Mrs. Roy who used to teach us English. I don't know where she is now; she was the one who understood me and brought out the talent in me and allowed me to participate in cultural activities. It is just because of her initiative that I am here today in the television world.

A Prank that you have played on a teacher: Well, I was a pucca prankster (laughs). Once upon a time, there was this Hindi teacher who was a chashmish; we used to hate him like anything. He had this habit of wearing a white shirt always, and whenever he used to turn towards the board to write, we who were first benchers used to spray ink from our ink pen on his shirt. He used to crib like anything whenever he saw his shirt spoilt. I guess if we had 1 Minute Tide ki Shakti then, he would have surely used it (laughs loud).

We celebrate Teachers' Day because: I have lost all academic knowledge, I am literally'Paanchvi Fail' now!! (grins) But then yes, as we have birthdays and many other such days to celebrate, this is a day where we remember our teachers who have paved a way for our bright future.

You must have often wondered whether the actresses who play seedi sadhi bahu on TV really identify with their on-screen characters. So did we, hence Telly Buzz spoke to Rati Pandeythe devoted Prarthana of Zee TV's, Har Ghar Kuch Ketha Hai.

On hearing our question, this Delhi girl wondered with a straight face, "In which planet do such door mats exist?". She went on,"It's weird; Prathana pokes her nose in matters that don't concern her. Even my on-screen husband gets tired of telling me to live my own life. But me being a typical Bharatiya nari, wants to do ghar ka kalyan "

So how different are you in real life, from your screen image?"We are like chalk and cheese and thank God for that !" Prathana believes in arranged marriage, while "I can wed only for love", she quipped.


Rati who has done Telegu movies besides some music video's will soon be seen in an upcoming Star Plus show titled 'Ghum Hua Hosh', as well. "There I play a bubbly and fun loving character . One Saas bahu role is too much", she signs off.
