Forget this. Let's take case of Ishaan , who is grown up , & knows the value of money and all its related stuff , right from Indira's days.

So why Ishaan doesn't ask his "Rishi bhaiya" for money but asks "Shweta ji"

Ishaan doesn't want to give place of Indira to Shweta , and that is understandable. But Even then he looks towards Shweta only and not Rishi.

So Even though it is not shown , but it is quite understandable that had Ishaan knew that Rishi earns substantial , he would have asked Rishi not Shweta for money.

So offcourse Rishi's income is not even enough let alone substantial to run house. Sad but truth.

And in absence of Shweta's support , at worst SF along with Rishi would have been on Road or they would have been forced to sell SN ( which would have taken all memories of Indira away from Rishi)

Mels , nobody is saying that Rishi wanted Cash or Money for himself.

But wanting Money , and not being able to raise your own family without taking anybody's help are two different things.

Especially taking the help of person ( Shweta ) whom you so much hate & insult , is not ethically acceptable , no matter what the circumstances. Either he should not take any help ( of even 1 paise) for himself and his family from Shweta or should give Shweta his due place in his life and family.

That is the only way for a self respecting man. "You can't have the cake and eat it too."

As Regards Rishi going back to Diwans. That was not possible , because if you remember Simi at the time of giving 40 lakhs to Rishi kept the condition for him to come within a week.

But Rishi again ditched Simi , and took 40 lakhs & never went back to Simi. Even before Leap , it was shown 1 year of time passed when Indira was in Coma & SN , but Rishi never went anywhere from SN. So the door of Diwans was permanently closed for him 8 years back only.
