actually after that only Indira got stabbed right... you are talking about same scene? and i think the scene was perfect because everyone said it came well,

if you can elaborate more exactly what you are referring it can help me because i missed the last few episodes of that track even i didnot see that stabbing and dettol scene just read in our forum...

of course, she can't go and jump and start fighting with those goons na... she can be helpless and that was shown in CD and not live... so her expressions were that of grief and sympathy and helpless not helping him out, the pain was visible on the eyes... which was not there in Rishi eyes nor the pain.. what else to justify that ?
by the ways comparisons are not allowing in IF kehthe... otherwise, i have loads of scene to compare with both the act to know what should have actually being the scene to enact... which rules don't permit us.

Nice topic Preeti... glad you touched this topic..needs good discussion.

I was left extremely disappointed with that scene in particular. I thought it was the highlight of the week where Rishi gets to know the truth about Indu's brain tumor... but acting wise, i was mightly disappointed the way that scene was done and I don't know what prompted the director to okay that scene at the first place.
Let me talk how i wanted that scene to be... It reminded of that scene of Rati in the kidnapp track where when Sumer takes her to the room where Inder phone conversation is trapped and makes her hear to the real identify of her father who was behind Rishi kidnayp, then you get to see the acting of Rati where she very well shows the pain, agony, anxiety, and a state of shock at the news and immediately trembles before latching on the sidewalls and her pain is visible on the eyes and conveys everything you want to see that character feel through her eyes.
I was expecting something similar at least half as good where Rishi would be shellshocked to hear those words from her mouth and his heart completely broken into piece to hear those dreaded words, which can't be worse than this, but the expressions were blank and no pain in eyes nor any tears. I couldn't connect myself to that scene... it was as though he got to hear some friend being declared with brain tumour with bit of shock and sympathy on it.
It is up to director to make an actor act well even if he is pretty limited and I wish the director had been good enough to make this scene pretty impactful and give the audience the kind of connect with some good acting. I was really disppointed with this scene it had great potential for acting gone waste.

@bold Is not it a comparison?

i have to agree with you on this Preeti Ji!
even i am disappointed Big Time
when Indira came to know about her BT and Rishi's abortion fiasco both scenes were so powerful...the expressions, body language, dialogues everything was perfect so our expectations were bound to be high but yet again the cv's failed to deliver 😒
i think it was solely the director's fault
a little bit more effort and it could have been much better
''they could have shown him falling on his knees after Indira's exit and then he slowly removes his glares...and then an expression of shock on his face...they could have shown him sitting there with that shocked expression on his face for a long time and people moving past him in quick motion and then he suddenly gets up with a determined face and then he says those lines ''Ab dunya dekhe gi''
or it could have been more impactful if he said this ''Ab Dunya Dekhe Gi'' line at the same place where he woed to destroy Indira's dreams''
i just hope they don't ruin the future scenes because of there carelessness 😊

thats up to your POV i cannot comment without seeing but if you feel it is expressionless you can quite feel it i have no right to change your POV

so as you felt that scene gone expressionless today i felt the same so i think i donot need to justify why i felt like that

Me too PD. it looked nothing like a shock. It was as though..padosi ki billi ka bachcha mar gaya ho. He reacted way more when he got to know about abortion. Why such a thanda sa scene for such a big revelation. I was disappointed big time. Poorly written n directed.

At least glycerine could have made the scene look better. How come he didn't cry even a bit for Indu. Is chiku more important for him?? I thought he would break down..but no he was perfectly fine. Indu was faltu mein being so apprehensive..she should have told him the truth earlier only..since it didn't have much impact on him.
