Hi Ratians! 😊
I did not have time to come here today, but the AT seems to be advancing slowly. Since it is very late, I am here just to share my thoughts on Wednesday's episode. I hope to catch you guys later.😉
Yesterday's episode was good, albeit nothing innovative or fresh in any way. In fact it revived some of the lovely moments from the golden days of HD, extending from the early days of November to late February.😍 I am referring to Indira Sharma becoming herself again, and the daily life of the Besharmas going on as before. The freshness lies in the new circumstances the family has to face; Indira Sharma being the new house owner, Rishi and Indira being husband and wife, no breadwinner and absolutely no expectations for support from Inder and Vidit, both of whom were previously considered pillars of strength by Indira and her family. There were several things that reminded me of the old, glorious days, including Indira's casual orange outfit, her breakfast, Ishaan getting ready for school, Rishi sleeping under the stars and last but not least Indira sitting on a rickshaw and Rishi riding his motorbike.
Coming to the specific scenes of the episode, I would like to begin with the interaction between Indira and Inder. I loved the way in which Indira replied to Inder and Kutumb stood by her daughter's decision.👏 Finally Kutumb realized how selfish and worthless this man is, and she has begun to appreciate the caring and generous side of Indira. I enjoyed the throwing out scene, particularly the flashback segment. Indira looked so cute when she was in her younger years, a somewhat bubbly type like Nupur from MJHT. The flashback was really painful and heartbreaking, as Indira was shown crying and begging for Inder not to leave SN. At the same time it was quite wonderfully sewn together by the producers, because they showed a comparison of Inder currently being in the same situation as Indira was 18 years earlier. She even replied to him in the same manner as he did back then. He got a taste of his own medicine. I am really satisfied by the fact that Indira never lost hope and fought for the house in a brave and noble way.
After this followed a number of well-known HD moments, including an awesome start to the day. Indira drying her hair with towel, Rishi sleeping outside, Ishaan getting ready for school, Sunaina cooking the food and Kutumb praying. I liked this part very well too. There are moments like this that make it all unique and worthwhile. One can clearly discern that Indira has become mentally and physically stronger after the Kukreja track, as she is determined not to take any days off. Instead, she is ready to drive into the next adventure of her life; job searching. She is and has always been aware of her her duties as the only breadwinner in the household. I am astonished every time she is forced to leave the dining table without eating anything. Why does Kutumb need to discuss this serious matter when Indira is taking breakfast? How can they forget that she is also a human being? At least let her eat something first. I am glad to see how Indira's thinking is still positive after all that has happened. She is a really strong and confident woman.👏
The scene in which Indira and Rishi bet 100 rupee on who is going to get a job first was my favourite.😃 It reminded me of the early days and to some extent even the entry of Rishi, as the piece of paper from Indira landed in front him on his motorbike. The scene was beautifully captured with some greenery in the background, but even if they continue to show earlier recordings from the real city of Delhi it is not going to be the same. However, I know the CVs are trying to keep it as close to the original surroundings as possible. Further on, I did not like Rishi's way of lying to his wife about the job interview which never happened. Seriously, what was the point of lying in that situation?😕 He could have said that he was still searching for job or that he was going home for the day. The bet would still be on, as getting a job nowadays is not a child's play. As they both pointed out correctly, it takes time and efforts. On the other hand, this is Rishi's way of handling things. He tries to act smart and inspirational. Indira is the other pole of Rishi. She believes in her set of principles, and her achievements are a result of strictly following these principles. She believes in truth and honesty, delivered by compassion.
Once again Rati's performance was of the highest standard throughout the episode. Her excellent expressions speak volumes that a thousand words never could. Actually, her expressions have bigger impact on me than her dialogues. I can never praise her enough. Sumit and Sandeep B did a great job too; both of them play convincing, vidid characters. As for the precap, we all know that this new bhua is going to be a nuisance for Indira and her family. Her intentions are definitely not honorable. I am not happy with the decision of the CVs of introducing yet another negative character. Let's hope it is just a side track. For once I want to see Indira and her family smiling with dignity and true happiness.
