Ila ji is not solely responsible Sal. They have these huge board meetings where the major decisions are taken. Ila ji is the producer and the main writer. But she is just one person. Yes HD is completely her idea but still the channel has a huge say. Everyones opinion is taken into acc starting from her to the director to pple working for the channel who might not even follow HD personally. 😕 Yes I know! horrifying. 🤢 Atleast Sumer hasnt turned all negative and psycho like Sameer. A lot of these actors are briefed abt their roles differently and then due to trp and rash decisions made by Channel and the PH the characters take a complete turn. This is the reason so many actors dont renew their contracts and step out of the show when their creative demands are not met with. Their characters are sidelined or become completely different compared to the briefing given to them initially. 😒 It is a possibility that Mrunal Jain wanted to quit HD because Sameer was going nowhere and thus the Rape track(everything suddenly falls into place) was introduced. See there are hundreds of creative as well as business decisions taken within hrs rite! Things go haywire. I think Star Plus is such a success because they function really well internally and know their audience. 😊 They know how to sell their products.
