I will be extremely frank and mightly bruise some egos. and this time if someone accuses me of lecturing, that person will be right. 😉
It has been about 2 weeks since nominations were announced. Yet we have not seen any congratulations or celebrations for the nominees, inspite of threads asking for them
I understand the hatred for Sumit in Rati fans. The fact that he got nominated for his acting when some quarters hold his acting in utter contempt, must have rubbed people the wrong way.
It is similar to if Sumer got nominated as "best character" or even "Hitler"...or Abhinav got nominated for Sumer, I would be pissed because it goes against my strongly held assessment of him. But I really hope I would be not self-obsessed enough to not offer him my congratulations.
But even that aside, what about Smita. No one has any problems with her. So why the dearth of congratulations
To rub salt on the wounds, we have thread on which song should Rati dance on. Could we not have even uttered a "mealy - mouthed", half-assed congratulations that were more pro-forma then anything else and then jumped on to the usual Rati programming
This kind of bad and petty behavior does not reflect well on Rati, who appears to be a very generous person.
