can it possible??

in television serial word--
is it possible for a show to survive with out a male lead and a romantic angle??

i think it is possible and content is king.

but no serial dared to experiment this idea so far.

will HD try this in future??

But then...The show must not introduce a lead from the start only...

Then only there is a chance because people won't make dreams that there is a chance of love track in future...They will watch the show with that mind set only...

And about Indian tv industry...I don't think it (show to survive with out a male lead and a romantic angle) will work because it becomes one of the main USP of the show... 👍🏼 Content do helps but Indian tv industry works on TRP System...A love track plays a vital role in bringing it.
We need to remember that Daily soaps are made to run for longer periods...For keeping the interest of the viewers, Love track is necessary. Though Indian films have liberty to do any experiment because Its just a matter of 3 HOURS for them!!!! Best e.g: Kahaani!

except for some crime shows which dont have romantic angles-- all other shows will have romantic angles sooner or later.
how many days it will run i don't know.??same old gisa -pita romantic scenes.

See raj, There are two kind of crime shows...One which finishes in a day/weekend and other shows like Shapath(Life ok channel) which runs as a daily soap...And that makes the latter the need to introduce Romance in such a serious theme... The cop in show is fighting against all odds and have a fixed goal in his life but he also have a girlfriend u see ☺️

But in CID or crime patrol, 1 ghante ke episode me sab khatm ho jaata hai...CV's love track kaise ghusayenge 😆...and these shows are meant for different target audience only...😊

About HD, The show's love track is still different and unique ways are found to show/strengthen their love(Future Dreams & all) but lately...The way they are handling it...(specially after holi) is little annoying...Balance is missing.
Last week there was Inshi week. But this week...hardly one scene that too short. No balance in romance and comedy. 😕
This kind of approach will seriously hamper their TRP's
and No matter how good the content is...Presentation matters. (My view is "Strictly restricted to Indian TV shows")
