I think it was just a filler episode for the so called twist to set in. I didn't like Rishi crying either, that to calling Kutumb, Ma!! I don't think she deserved it from Rishi.

I would go with what Sanam says...
I thought Inder and Indu scene was a typical estranged father trying to win back his daughter's confidence and the daughter melting from inside, but refusing to express and leaves it to her mother to forgive him. I thought the whole sequence went well and ended aptly.
But, I couldn't come to terms with Rishi and Kutumb cryiing scenes... I found no logic and was scratching my head as to what Rishi was trying to do ? I was unable to figure out if he was acting to convince kutumb about Indu's love and what Kutumb means for him or he genuinely felt Kutumb is one who filled his mother shoes with love ? Either way, I was battled with that scene and was waiting for that to end.
Precap, this is what we all want to see.. give us Inshi scenes. It looks promising that Rishi threatens to leave and Indu playing with him... want to see more of nok jhok of shrimaan shrimaatiji and rutna maana and getting jealous, etc. and I hope they get married in court without practice tomorrow.

I liked the scene between Inder Sharma and Babli. Other than that the episode failed to hold my attention. I keep on saying this time and time again but striking a balance is the key. No one likes an overdose in melodrama and CVs need to remember this.

I agree with every single words you wrote. From when Rishi and Indira got married there's no interaction between them
As if they are concentrating more on the other characters and GOD knows from where this Great change comes in Hitler Didi overnight that everyone begin to cry.
I only like the precap and nothing else.

But still he must call him ma because she's his mom in law so that not a big matter.
Why Rishi suddenly begins to cry, that also bucket.
HD was one show where they were not crying and it was it's speciality which attracted us but if they continue on this show will go i drain, sorry it hurts but ...

@brown: Anju, we all expected some meaningful emotional scenes between Rishi and Indira since court episodes, but what we got to see was the one between Rishi and Kutumbh

@Mahesh only Inshi scenes can create magic and nothing else.
It was an undigestable scene Rishi and kutumbh crying. But he succeeds in pacifying her that was good.
But Today I repeat as if I was watching something else.

i think Cv's goes into amnesia that they forgot the Hero Rishi Heroine is INDIRA but not Kutumbh who's the mother in law of Rishi. Why they wrote such a long scene for them. From When Kutumbh turned out into an emotional good lady she does not have a heart of a mom.

with change of director--

now we may see change in handling of scenes and story.

i think new director will try to give more emotional scenes and try to give more depth to all characters.
and it may bring positive change in HD as earlier all scenes are fast tracked without giving any depth to scenes.

we may need time to adjust to new director way and slow paced tracks.
