in hindi the movie had rekha ... rekha (indira )loves kanwaljeet(rishi) ... has a bro raj babbar ... who is gud 4 nothing exactly like munna & ... he is married with wife & kids ... is a drunkard ... in tel version rajnikanth played that role ...
then rekha had a sister(mandira ) ... its simple kapadia ... she is a widow ... rekha tries 2 run her family on her salary ... no one supports her ...
when ever she thnks her problems come 2 an end & she can marry ... some thing or the other happns ...
so first time ... she wants 2 marry kanwaljeet after falling in love with him ... he 2 agrees 2 support her & her family ... but she comes 2 know that her sister simple has started dreaming & has feelings 4 him & wants 2 marry him ... so she sacrifises her love & gets her sister married 2 him ...
then again the same story starts as her bro is not supportive ... thn her new boss ... i think its rakesh roshan ... he falls for her ... she refuses ... but finally agrees after some drama ... then by that time her bro raj babbar realises that he was wrong & changes ... & her marriage date & every thing is decided ... & she gets ready 2get married ...
just before her marriage ... her bro raj babbar dies in an accident i.e. after he reforms ... there by ... making her 2 again sacrifise her love & get back 2 her duties as a daughter ... the story continues ... ... đ its a sad movie ...
