Rati's journey to stardom started from MJHT even though she had done a show prior to that, but it was that magical character of Nupur that swept away everyone by their feet.
And, I was very lucky to catch one of promotional shows of MJHT where i saw Rati for the first time, but it went unnoticed and then MJHT started and initially I liked the other pair, but it took only few episodes to fall in love with Nupur character and Rati outstanding performance.
As Nupur, she was so brillant that it is an iconic character in indian television now. She was like the basaanti of small screen.
If you had become a Rati fan after watching HD, then need to watch her previous show to see her verstality and how well she walks into the skin of a character and portrays it... As Indira and Nupur, they have been chalk and cheese and Rati's acting potential, class, and caliber is there for everyone to see.
In fact, it was my mom who told me that look your nupur is back in serial and that is when I saw the promo of HD and was happy to see her in new avatar totally different from the other. I have quit watchign 2 other shows just to watch HD and it was Indira and HD which brought me to the forum even though I used to visit to read news related to serials.
Off screen too, Rati is extremely adorable and down to earth and I am happy to choose Rati as the only female celebrity as my favorite for whom I would use the word her "Fan"
