yes on wednesday though i felt bad for rishi, i agree with you that he himself had brought him into trouble..yesterday, rishi/ricky or i would say Sumit Vats acted so brilliantly and stole all sympathy with his character..

indira got the love in childhood but rishi didn't...both were in the same phase but in different situations..indira's dad left his family,hence she had to pull over the responsibilities as after munna who is good for nothing she was the eldest..and considered it a duty as u mentioned..due to her selfish family members,she became hitler..and she could show her pain through her anger because she was with her family after all who needed her..

but ricky's case was different..his father never left him but he didn't give him the love,affection,care which a child would want..it was never paid attention to what he really wanted and what he didn't..his mother may have taken his side but as can be seen from the 2 episodes, though she loved her son, the name DIWAN and their statues was equally important for her, so may be she also didn't support ricky..

it was obvious for ricky to think no1 needs him, every1 is happy with their own, so he left the house..none of the diwan's life stopped due to ricky..

but if indira wouldn't have been there with her family,her family couldn't have survived..

though indira never got love, her family atleast needed her but ricky,his family didn't even needed him..that was the reason ricky found love in selfish family as it was mentioned in one of his dialogues, even though indira's mother taunted,scolded him many times, he didn't feel bad, because atleast some1 talked to him, and realized his presence which no1 did in DIWAN family it seems..

and about ricky's jovial nature, this is the base i feel..u explained it very nicely..he tries to give love to each and every person because he doesn't want anyone to suffer from the situation through which he has gone..he knows the value of loving and being loved..he never got love so he tries to get it from the ones who are strangers to him and he does get that..radhe-ricky relationship can be taken as best example..his irresponsible behavior has the same reason..love..his life revolves around love so when it comes to that, he doesn't think of consequences..

behind hiding all the things was the same reason..he didn't want indira to get hurt..m not angry at him for bringing fake parents after knowing him in these two days..he was indirectly compelled to do that..see, if munna wouldn't have recognized the actors, everything would have gone smoothly, as soon as vidit would have got recovered he himself would have told her which would have been less painful for indira and at that moment may be she would have believed him after knowing all his truth..but as truth has come out this way she is not able to trust on him even if she wants to..

u r right..he was not replying back to sameer because that time he didn't care for himself but for indira and about her feelings..though sameer was constantly saying all lies tbout his stay in SN nivas, he didn't even look at him but was looking at indira..he really didn't want to go away from her and didn't want to leave SN as it was the place where he could live his life without any burden..

i would like to point out one-more relationship..ishan and ricky..ricky could see himself in ishan and ishan's father is also not that good to give love..so rishi gave ishan all the love which a father would give..i always love their relationship..

u know the world has two sides in general..on one side it is hate,fights,status,wars which is in large amount..

and on the other it is love,care,emotions,happiness on which the world surives though it is seen very rarely these days...love is always one step ahead than hate..

title of your post itself said it all..love is about giving and i would add, happiness is about spreading..

It's just that his family was drifting from him & nobody cared for his emotional & mental needs... they never cared about Rishi's aspirations... his family think from the perspective of society & what would people say... but he thinks from his heart... since he entered in SN he showed that he might be a carefree but a sensible guy who can take the responsibilities...
