i dont know why.but my feeling is--
he dose not gel well his family members.so he left india and gone to usa.

and in usa he become friend with vidith.and 1st time he got great bonding with vidith.he started to trust him.
and it looks vidith saves rishi from accident and but ending himself in unconscious state.becuase of what vidith did -rishi takes care of vidith.

so i assume rishi dose not have great bonding with his mother.
we will exactly know only after his mom entry.
