When Navina entered and was excited to know Rishi/Ricky is back in town, Sameer did not seem too happy. Maybe they don't get along, which is why maybe Rishi/Ricky left for America. Which makes sense as to why he is using a fake name and not staying in his own house just so that his family and Navina don't bother him.
