The FL this season isn't doing that as much. She had only a few expressions throughout the first week of epis.

I might go back and watch season 1 instead.

I am trying to watch only for KVB, but his scenes are far and few, and DD isn't able to do the job, in my opinion and the FL too doesn't invoke any feeling. Where do these two stories connect? Viraj's and the new storyline - sorry don't know the names of the two leads either

This season is boring. Something that worked well over a decade ago, won’t work now with so many other options specifically OTT available to people watching..

Firstly it’s pathetic that the protagonist victim and her abusive husband have been given the same character names as the predecessor and her non-abusive husband.
Secondly.. they are using more or less the same story line as season 1.. so there is no intriguing factor to rewatch the same story now again.
Thirdly the actors are nowhere as good as their predecessors.. sorry to say.. DD cannot (try as he might )come close to portraying the devil V.. that KVB had portrayed in the earlier season. Maybe if it was a new concept, DD might have excelled in his role, but since it’s a sequel.. been there done that.. no mystery, no thrilling storyline..

Fourthly the makers seem to have no clue how to incorporate KVB’s track into the story.. just randomly bring in a missing daughter.. (when he wanted a son in the 1st season) and then keep killing all the people who can get him to her.. I gave up watching after the first week.

I stopped watching. I can't even do it for KVB.

I feel like they're just trying to cash in on the first season success by adding KVB to the show. I was expecting a better merge of both seasons if they were bringing Viraj Dobriyal back. But it's like he's just on his own track and all he does is sit in a chair and laugh. That isn't the Viraj Dobriyal that we loved to hate so much.

The thing is they have reversed Raghav here in S2 and kept Siya similar to S1. Now we have to see whether Viraj is the bigger villain after 12 years or is Raghav the one. There is no good vs bad here. This is a battle between evil vs vile and here bad is the good. If they have raised a question in a recent promo whether Viraj is the messiah or not, then of course there is some loophole here.

I am also assuming here Siya is her own Ram. She doesn't need a Ram (Raghav) this season, that too in this era of television.

I was so excited to see this show but the acting is so off putting. The female lead does not fit the bill, her expressions don't make you feel the fear she's supposed to be experiencing. She looks tensed all the time but that's about it. And the guy just does not scream scary to me. Also, the timelines seem off to me, like I distinctly remember Viraj being jailed for longer than this season claims and he had no kid with Jhanvi, unless this is Raghav's kid and not his but then again, why would he be so obsessed with his arch nemesis' progeny? Maybe the cuckoo part of his brain only focused on the connection to Jhanvi and ran with it. Even so, the ages and timelines are all murky.

I started re-watching season 1 and it's still so good. Hate Viraj with a vengeance I did not realise I am capable of.

In first season, Viraj tried to get Jhanvi back after she ran off and became Sia. But in the process he killed Raghav. Jhanvi also died as Viraj tried to convince her to come back by giving her poison. Her heart was then transplanted to a girl, Ananya. I stopped watching the first season after Jhanvi's death, but from my understanding, Ananya somehow reformed Viraj and he went to jail for 14 years. There never was any child in the mix, but Viraj was demented. He didn't complete Jhanvi's last rites and kept her body as well, so maybe by the miracles of medical science he had a test tube baby while he had Jhanvi's body.

I don't remember S1 so much, it was too long ago, and I was a kid. Lol. But idk what's happening here. When will the tracks merge? I am not watching everyday either.

I don't think they ever will. I feel like they are just trying to use the first season's fame to make this season work and then KVB's role will be over.

I know! The first season was like 10 years ago. But for me it was the first ITV show that struck a chord. I don't remember every ITV show I've watched, but I remember Dil Se Di Dua too well. Especially Raghav and Jhanvi. My first ever ship. In fact, possibly my only strongest ship ever. I haven't ever felt as strongly about another couple as RaghaVi (the original RaghaVi).

Original season is irreplaceable. Honestly I am watching this only for Karanvir. But the show itself isn't bad. The show just needed a better actor for Raghev's character. This season could have been as good if they chose someone who is suitable to play a villain character. Serial Villains are usually more intimidating, stylish, attractive and dramatic than any other Villains, that's what make them special. This actor don't have that look or vibe. Anyways, seems like Viraj and Raghev will finally face off in the upcoming episode, I think show will get interesting from now on. I will be watching for their fight.

I remember this part, viraj decided to accept all his wrongdoings and served his time in jail still being madly in love with Jhanvi while Ananya does Jhanvi’s last rites and thats how the show ended. This time around, they claim he was sentenced to spend 12 and not 14 years in prison and also the kid he is searching for is his and Jhanvi’s, which makes no sense. Neither the timelines nor the last season’s story allow for this child to be a possibility. They could have made her Ananya’s kid and Viraj being the darkest shade of the red flag, blinded by his obsession with Jhanvi, wants this kid because of Ananya having Jhanvi’s heart and that makes this kid connected to his Jaan. Anything would be more acceptable than what the makers are selling to us with this dad-daughter nonsense.
