I agree Karan's dad was justified but he should have just stopped after buying his house. Making Abha a car cleaner and nearly getting her married to an old drunkard was wrong. But after some time, he starts liking her. Don't remember this part on how he starts liking her but the first time he agreed with her after knowing her identity was when she brought Kanika from a pub before she was about to do drugs and told her family where she went.

As I said Abha's father was the most chu character. He lived like a king and never worked like not even doing business. His principle was that koi Swarn Bhawan se khaali haath na jaaye varna ghar ki izzat jaayegi. He would give big gifts to anyone coming to his house. Then slowly slowly we get to know that Thakur family is not actually rich which he is showing. By giving away gifts and not doing any work he lost all his wealth over the years. So to give away money he had taken crores of loans over the years from 2 money lenders who out of anger for not returning their money exposed him on the important function of 100th year anniversary of Swarn Bhawan causing guests to leave and then kept Swarn Bhawan on auction which Karan's dad brought. 1-2 days before 100th anniversary, Abha's mother told her 2 daughters that only her mangalsutra and earrings are real while other jewelleries she worn and in the cupboard are fake and went on to tell their situation due to their dad. She told the truth when Abha asked why she makes her do her own work herself like stitching own clothes or working in kitchen with servants to which her mom told one has to be prepared for any situation before telling the truth of their situation. But their brother was still unaware till their family got exposed. Her mom had even put her in government college instead of expensive college which her dad came to know only via a news article which said Abha topped in BA exam. Abha's mom saw all this coming from a long time so she raised her daughter's like normal people. Abha's alliance got broken making way for actual ML Karan.

So here Thakur family was fault. Karan's dad after childhood incident managed to become a rich and famous lawyer while Thakur family went towards only downfall in slow steps.

At least the daughters were tolerable as they never rebel against their mom for making them live like commoners and did not looked down upon anyone like a spoilt brat. Even the brother was okay who loved his parents and sisters though not raised like a commoner. But Abha's father was too much. 100th anniversary pe hi swaha ho gaya😆.
