Actually I don't mind admitting that I hated him from first!! 😃 I really thought he was negative, but the way Dumbledore trusted him blindly made me doubt myself at times, so I was wrong & he turned out to be Mr. Nice Guy!! 😉 👏

i read harry potter when i was in 7th standard.i knew harry potter was a famous book but i didnt knew the story.i didnt even knew about ron and hermione.i knew only about harry.i first read harry potter and the chamber of secrets.u can imagine how it was me withuout knowing the story to read the second book.i didnt knew that snape disliked harry.i thought he was just a strict teacher.after that when i read the first book i understood that snape hated harry but still i never hate him because i liked some of his dialogues which made me laugh.it was rather funny.but i was suspicious about the character because after seeing the third movie when lupin changed into a werewolf snape came running and asked harry'potter are you alright'.hermione and ron were also standing there.he didnt ask anything to them .if he hated hary then why ould he be so caring about him.in the first book dumbledore said that he was saving because james saved snape.but after that also he was still taking care of him and if u remember in d first book when first harry saw snape he was looking into harry's eyes and after winning the trophy also he was looking in hary's eyes.i liked snape's character even before i knew sape was good.i like alan rickman' acting.he is perfect for the role.

Good question! 😃Actually,I had mixed feelings towards the character.I think I hated Snape's character because he was the meanest teacher at school( & also kept reminding me of this really awful teacher that I myself had at school 😆 which is the true reason I found myself disliking Snape I guess 😛 ) But I have to admit that I really loved reading Snape's scenes in the books (Those are some of the parts that I read over & over again even now😃)because he was so horrid & nasty & came out with such sarcastic comments, for instance ;"I don't take cheek from anyone Potter, not even the Chosen One", "I would expect nothing more sophisticated from you Ronald Weasley, the boy so solid he cannot apparate six inches...", " 'Harry Potter's secret heartache'..dear dear Potter..what is ailing you now?", "Well,I think I'd better separate the three of you so you can keep you minds on your potions rather than your tangled lovelives"😆, "So the train isn't good enough for the famous Harry Potter & his faithful sidekick Weasley.Wanted to arrive with a bang did we boys?"

Also, I absolutely loved Snape's scenes in the movies largely due to the brilliance of Alan Rickman's acting & his perfect portrayal of the character 👏 👏👏

After getting to know Snape's true story however I think I fell head over heels in love with him 😆

i agree wid u completely...even though i hated him troughout 6 books i knew that had to be sum surprise element in the end....that it was...

anyways even i love readin d way snape treated harry as if he was a toerag..while others considered him chosen 1 and all that.,he dint give any imp 2 him...hehe
