Ton-Tongue Toffee (Dare for Pavana) But I'm warning you guys.. it's a bit long

Setting: The Great Hall
Characters: Fred, George, Snape (and the rest of the school in the background)

Everyone was gathered in the Great Hall for breakfast. Fred and George were feeling even more mischievious and livelier than ever as they had both slept very well indeed the night before. "Hey, Fred! whispered George.
"I dare you to make old Greasy-haired Snape eat a Ton-Tongue Toffee!"
Fred grinned and said easily, "Piece of cake!" As soon as Snape finishes his breakfast, I'll persuade him to eat one!"
Fred kept an eye on Snape during breakfast and as soon as he showed signs of having had enough to eat, Fred jumped up, winking at George. He raced towards the direction of the staff table and soon saw Snape coming towards him. "Oh, Professor, would you like a sweet?" asked Fred, making his eyes as wide and as innocent as possible. Snape looked suspiciously at first Fred and then the sweet. He aquiesced to take the sweet and then asked Fred, "Well, Mr. Weasley, I wonder if you have another sweet just like this one... I'd rather like to give one to young Mr. Malfoy."
"Oh yes, Professor!" said Fred, extremely delighted at the success of his trick. He took another one out of his pocket and handed it to Snape. Snape moved so swiftly that Fred ha no time to react. He uwrapped one of the sweets and forced it into Fred's mouth. Fred had no choice but to swallow and of course, his tongue turned purple and about ten-feet long. Snape sneered and said, "You surely did not expect me to take that sweet from you, of all people. I'm not so dim-witted as all that." He turned and walked away, leaving Fred spluttering over his tongue, while the Great Hall erupted into laughter around him.

Ok now, Pavana... it's Liquorice Wands for you! 😉

Ton Tongue Toffees:

Location: The dungeons (where else?)
Year: Fred & George's 3rd year (Harry's 1st)

Story:
"Weasley, Weasley, detention!", yells Snape for what is probably the millionth time this year.

The reason, you ask? Well, let's just say it's something involving Old boy Snape, a few (meaning a few hundred) mice & a poor little Hippogriff.

Honestly, I don't understand why the old hag gets so worked up.

We, that is to say, me & my twin Fred, get out of class. After the, oh, can I use the word here? I guess I'll just use another.

So, as I was saying, after the absolute nutter has finished with his usual. Points off of Gryffindor, along with a few threats here & there (a trip to Dumby's office & suspension) & of course, the time of our detention. We're used to that, trust me.

Four hours later, & we're making our way to detention.
10 minutes later, & the numbskull has sent my boy Fred to clean trophies with Filch.

Ok, is it just me or does Snape want to get all mushy-mushy with me? Oh, now he's scaring me? Should I run away?

Oh no, wait, I think I might have an idea. Let's see what he thinks of this.

I slowly approach my target. He looks at me all weird. I drop my bait & start working on the pickled toads he's given me. He turns away. Now I wait.

Two minutes later & bingo! I hear noises & turn. Snape's tongue is a feet long already. Ha!

"Professor, you did have dinner, didn't you? Hungry again?", I ask. He glares at me.

"Err... I'll go call Madam Pomfrey." Saying this, I leave, off to a Snape-less world of no suffering & only joy.

Do I call Pompy? Err... I'll leave you to answer this one.
