Church Uses Harry Potter Books for VBS

(CBN News) - A Pennsylvania church has embraced the Harry Potter books in its vacation Bible school curriculum, and now enrollment has doubled.

Straight from the pages of the book, Saint John's Episcopal Church exposes students to magic and witchcraft, introducing spells and giving flying lessons on broomsticks.

The church does point out that the youngsters get a daily dose of Bible verses in what they call "owl mail."

Some Christians object to the occult messages in the popular novels, but the church's pastor believes Harry Potter's tales of wizardry parallel lessons from the Bible.

now i can say to my school o principal that even the church's pastor believes that all teh Harry Potter stuff is frm the bible and then i hope taht she gives my book back to me
u ppl know that i hav read only the first two chapters only ....... i really miss my book and i even want it as fast as possible.. it's almost been a month she has my book....any one can complete HP and HBP in a month or even in a week.... she took it on the 18 th of july and told me that she'll give uit to me after 2 weeks but she is not givin itnto me i guess that she liked it and wants to read but i hope she gives it back to me... i want to read it
